 Yeah Congress is made up of people who all have their own ideas for how things should run, it's just their divided into 2 groups who they share a lot of ideas with, the Republicans and Democrats, but when the president shows up with a bill or a plan that needs Congress' approval, it's guaranteed that at least one side of congress is going to hate it because they aren't with the same political party as the president. So they spend days, weeks, months, chewing up this bill and warping it and changing it until eventually 66% of the house agrees with it and reflects almost nothing about the original plan. A lot of people have a problem with Congress because it's the republicans/democrats trying to get more control so they can have more influence in bills that they like. sweet. thanks for the info man! sounds like congress is a bunch of assholes! im about to hit the hay though appreciate it | ||

| Both Hillary & Trump can be considered "populists" because people argue they appeal to the current fears of the public, like terrorism and refugees, and illegal immigration. Although that would only be true if their plans were things like "I hate terrorism", but both candidates have laid out actual policies for how they'll handle the current issues, so as long as they can get support from congress which tbh I have trouble seeing... it won't be as bad as people say. so doubtful they'll get support from congress so like a whole lot of nothing will happen? I think they realized that Iowa can't win and wanted to avoid embarrassment one more time given Minnesota can't beat these guys. This team is on FIRE in the FCS!

saltyfries (08/21/2015) [-] NDSU has just been badass since their entrance to FCS since 2004, they're the first team to win 4 consecutive FCS titles, 5 consecutive wins against FBS teams (including K-State, Minnesota, Iowa State), 8-3 overall vs FBS (that's just disgusting), John Crockett their RB is a Packer, Brock Jensen unfortunately a free agent I believe which sucks cuz I thought he was fantastic and a great leader (from Waupaca, WI).
