Cops don't get the benefits of having machines that people have studied and know what they do.

I personally think the reason no one is going to start throwing riots about all of this is becaue it's old news. People have already done similar things. Except bigger and flashier. No one cares anymore because no one shuts up about it.

And the fact there are millions of people who hop on their soapbox and preach about the horrors of our police departments and how they all need to have their jobs taken away, but not a single one of those million will be the ones who climb off their soapbox and go out and start doing patrols in the middle of gang affiliated territory.

i completely agree with the last half of your comment, my point never was something should be done, just that its wrong, dont misunderstand stand me, i could really care less, but on a more human level i can identify that this is not an okay way to go about situations.

They aren't shot at daily, no, but cops also work for longer than one week.
If I've been shot at more than 5 times in a year, I'm gonna be a jumpy mofo. And yes, I'm sure plenty of cops have never been shot at before. But more than enough have. And you don't get to turn down assignments like that as a cop. You go out and do your job like you do every other day there's a call for you to go into the field.

And stfu about what would have happened 20 years ago. It's not 20 years ago right now. It's the present now. Times have changed and you should be ashamed for trying to say that would happen unless you were there when THIS EXACT THING HAPPENED 20 years ago, or you go and find a source for riots over someone pointing toy guns at people.

i never said over this one incident deserving of riots, my point was how things are going as a whole with the police rn that people would have made a HUGE deal out of it not that long ago.
