Yeah, which ever one, I agree. They do as good as they do because they are able to kill enough of the enemy, despite their own casualties, to technically "win".

That being said, Grey Knights are the shit.

Again, GKs are specialised anti-daemon forces, while the Exorcists are just regular marines who were badass enough to force a daemon out of themselves.

But again, I prefer the Imperial Guard. There's just something appealing about going up against enemies which Space Marines could have trouble taking down with cheap weapons and disposable equipment.

Being armed rarely saves a woman from a rapist. Most of the time it is out of surprise and the woman never has a chance, much less to go for her side arm. A stun gun is far easier for them to use and more easily accessible. Sorry, but I can't stand the whole guns=safety myth. Same thing applies to guns for home defense. Statistically, they don't make much of a difference.
#624 - N. Korean citizen (05/01/2013) [-]
Obvious troll is obvious and needs to link sources or gtfo.

But seriously, stun guns more accesible? They are guns too, and they have smaller guns than those that are much easier to draw and point at a target quicker.

#676 - N. Korean citizen (05/01/2013) [-]
A stungun isn't a gun..... You are thinking of a taser. A stungun can be kept in the pocket and can be used on contact easily. I would give sources but you would probably scream "LIBERAL MEDIA" as soon as I do.

I'm going more off of the Codex for the tabletop games.

The Ultramarines are a Codex Chapter (seeing as how their primarch WROTE the Codex Astartese), while they aren't fucking Space Marine ninjas like the Raven Guard, they are a tactical chapter.

The Blood Ravens how ever are not a Codex Chapter, they often go crazy (blood rage, in fact they are known for losing it and killing anything and everything that isn't part of their chapter, including Space Marines from other chapters or Guard Regiments in the area) in the middle of a fight and quite often senior members of the Blood Raven's chapter succumb to the "Black Rage", where they mutate and become basically the chapter's version of a Demon Prince, mutated as fuck and completely insane, but stronger than hell. These Marines are horded for times when the chapter is short on manpower and has a few suicide missions that need doing, that aren't more complicated than, "hey buddy! You see those guys? GO KILL THEM FOR THE EMPEROR!"
#249 - krasnogvardiech (04/30/2013) [-]
I think what you're meaning is the Blood Angels. One of the original Astartes Legionnes, (The Ninth, to be precise) whose Primarch was Sanguinius. Their gene-seed got screwed up when Ka'Bandha mindfucked the Legion after being slain by Sanguinius.
And the Black Rage is actually one of the two major defects in their gene-seed - eventually many of the Blood Angels and their descendants will be psychically enhanced while being forced to see things as though they were Sanguinius in the final moments of the Battle for Terra. e.g. completely fucking angry.
They do become batshit crazy and uncontrollable, but damn, have you seen the way they tear shit up? Throw a couple of DC Assault Marines at a horde of Hormagaunts and you'll never see those bugs again.

Blood Ravens are the relic-thieving dipshits who got their asses handed to them by pretty much the entirety of the 40k universe. I'd be surprised if they had more than 200 marines. Then again, according to Titus they're supposed to be uber-badasses, so that might be something.

there is a 911 documentary on netflix, titled 911 (creative right) it show how thermite works how to make it and more importantly what it does, someone in the goverment created a better thermite, ie, instead of just common rust how about we create a pure form. this is what was used on both buildings, several video's are out there of an explosion on the second floor of the tower, remember both towers fell in the same way, but both only burned for a few hours, google claims to know of 300 steel structure fires that lasted of a min of 24 min max of 26 hours. you ever watch a video of thermite? note how incredibly long that shit stays hotter than fuck? ground zero was the longest burning pile of shit recorded in the us.

RIP Futurama

It's not too much of a loss. In the grim darkness of the forty-first mullenium, billions of human lives are practically worthless and may be sacrificed to save trillions, without a doubt.
Exterminatus it is.

Well, looks like the titans are dead, but i know how to make more.
User avatar #82 to #80 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
So, what is their weakness?
User avatar #84 to #82 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
If i tell you, you'll use it against me.
#85 to #84 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Ah, fuck it. I'll just wait for the Tyranids to come along and eat them all.
Those things can regenerate, but the Tyranids will just keep digesting them.

Congratulations, you gave the fucking TYRANIDS endless biomass. Now we'll never defeat them.
User avatar #87 to #85 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Would you say they are as big as a house?
User avatar #86 to #85 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
How big are they?
User avatar #88 to #86 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Hormagaunts and Termagaunts are about the height of regular humans, but they swarm you en masse and if they're under the control of the Hive Mind, they don't care for casualties. Hormagaunts swarm you and claw your face off, while Termagaunts stand back and shoot you to pieces.
The other end of the spectrum is the Tyranid Bio-Titans, which can be up to a kilometer tall. They're generally like the huge thing in my above picture.
Then there's the bioships they go through space with, which can be hundreds of kilometers long/in size.
And to think they swarm us with these things...

You don't know much about Warhammer 40,000, do you?
User avatar #92 to #88 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
I just looked them up to know what the titans would be facing, the wiki said one of the biggest is about 13 meters, the most common titan height is 45 meters.
User avatar #93 to #92 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
both are average, so there are alot bigger and smaller ones.
User avatar #94 to #93 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Then again, their numbers are endless and the giants just keep on regenerating. Congrats, you've made the Tyranids unstoppable.
User avatar #95 to #94 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
But....the biggest bio-titans on average are about 14 meters, the average titan is about 45 meters....the titans win. I have solved your problem.
User avatar #96 to #95 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Numbers, and your forces are an endless resource.
Besides, the Tyranids will likely just evolve something bigger and nastier to kill your giant lumps of biomass.
User avatar #97 to #96 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
But.....but...my forces are stronger...because they won't be able to eat my titans, and im not sure they can take down the armored titan.
#98 to #97 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Bio-plasma or acid to melt the armor, and to the point about eating your titans... Well, just imagine a couple million of those little things.
User avatar #99 to #98 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Regen the armor, They might be able to eat the smaller ones, but the colossal titan would beat them.
User avatar #100 to #99 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
That's why there's always more Tyranids.
You must not be getting this: Their numbers are literally endless. No matter how big the titan you're throwing at them, they will always just keep on charging, and devouring your large one.
Your titans are an endless source of biomass for them!
And don't even get me started on what would happen if a dozen or so Tyranid Bio-Titans decided to swarm your colossal one.
User avatar #101 to #100 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
But, the titans are fast, and would easily outrun the bio-titans, or just smash them, the colossal titan would probably just chunk stuff at them and the ships
User avatar #102 to #101 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Exactly what part of 'endless numbers' do you not get? If the Tyranids can't catch you from one or few directions, they'll surround you and rip you apart.
Besides, I'm fairly certain the Tyranids could evolve crazy-ass bio-toxins (a shitload better than their usual stuff, anyway) to kill the titans post haste.
User avatar #91 to #88 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
If you use the normal more common type though, titans will win.
User avatar #90 to #88 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
So pretty much they look like a big version of what you posted above.
User avatar #89 to #88 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Nope, only played alittle of 40k and alittle of space marines.
Yep, titans are fucked in that.
User avatar #81 to #80 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
No, the planet's completely obliterated. And the guns of the Imperium can get bigger than that.
User avatar #83 to #81 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/14/2013) [-]
Who said i was on that planet.

Tomichu used Positive Charge!
Tomichu is now shielded!
#60 to #59 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
But your wall of happiness has been sliced and diced...i have now opened a hole for the titans to invade.
#62 to #60 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
Hole in the defenses? [CONFIRMED]
Massive swarm of monsters coming through? [PROBABILITY 95%]

I shall have no fear, for my faith is a shield proof against their blandishments, and I'm pretty sure the guns on this thing can turn them into a gory mist.
User avatar #64 to #62 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
Nope sorry, Massive explosions can't kill titans though it would slow them down alittle.
#65 to #64 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
And a Magna-Melta doesn't cause explosions. It melts a hole right through whatever's unlucky enough to be targeted by it.
And Vanquishers exist for a reason.
User avatar #67 to #65 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
Sorry those won't work either, they will just regenerate, they have one weakness, but i ain't telling.
#69 to #67 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
So melting a hole through their heads will cause them to simply regenerate?

Fine. Soul-shredding it is.
User avatar #70 to #69 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
Who said they have souls.....
#72 to #70 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
All living things have a presence in the Warp. Thus, they can be targeted by psykers.

THEY TASTED NICE. I'D LIKE MORE!
User avatar #73 to #72 - wildikdog ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
Oh did you hear that, its the sound of them all regenerating in its stomach, oops it's stomach exploded.
User avatar #74 to #73 - krasnogvardiech ONLINE (05/13/2013) [-]
Fuck it. I tried. What's their weakness?

I only had one huge building that was hundreds of kilometers tall. When you can't build out, build up.

Then again, it's not really a city of 'Happiness', either.
