you can try practicing the general concept put on a belt then unclasp it with only one hand, switch sides of course after that it's just a matter of shrinking it down to finger motions.

That's exactly what i said. You can use two fingers from your left because you just use your thumb to push the hooks out of the loops and use your index finger to push the loops down.

its hard to explain. but you cant do it two fingers from the right.

when you say "from your right" are you talking about from the one wearing or the one removing?

Either way it's irrelevant, it is possible to two finger from either side. press down on the bottom side, pull in the top side. whether it's your thumb or middle/index finger is the only difference.
