They would definitely be a good one to watch, same with the Red Wings of the late 90's and early 2000's, they were godlike with their ability to maneuver the puck, plus they had Lidstrom, a man who could play 30+ minutes a night without breaking a sweat.

Soviet Union definitely made playing as a 5 man unit popular. Before that it was a lot of hitting and not a lot of showing skill, the game changed because of them.

This is the best thing to read for a beginner. I ended up having to buy NHL gamecenter, which lets me watch all the games, as the team I like isn't in my "market" and I couldn't watch them otherwise.
Hockey is probably most like soccer than any other sport so there's that.

Yup, live and work in Wisconsin.

Sports, hockey mostly. I enjoy it, as I used to play it.
It was easier to watch anime when I worked later as I could stay up late and not be bothered but now that I go to sleep relatively early I end up watching a game of hockey and pass out afterwords, even if I tried to watch any anime after.

where do I start watching hockey? where does the journey begin and what are some essential hockey rules and games anyone should watch?

I just follow football/soccer and boxing.

I see your point. Whereabouts do you work again? Wisconsin or somewhere around there? I remember it was central US more towards East

It's nothing

But if they are moving forward without him that does bring me a little hope that Kino can get that season 2 without him as well.

Too expensive for me right now. I'll see if we still stand in 4 years. If we get Hillary she's probably going to die in office.

True, not like I have to watch it as it's airing, just see how they play out.

Well when something is successful there are going to be clones of it, even if the original they are stealing from isn't good. I haven't even looked at the anime list in at least a year, but it'll always be there I guess.

I've been on here for way too long....6 years on this account and a couple more as an anon.

It does look pretty good, but I don't know about adding things when I need to finish so many.

time flies indeed

ye, but those are upcoming and god knows when (next season, may be even next fall), so it's something to take note of. I really only enjoy manga nowadays, but I watch some stuff for fun, especially anime originals or something that looks right up my alley. Ridiculous how many "SAO copies" they pull nowadays. Video game, trapped in video game, video game, etc , I just scrap those right away.
