Do watch A:TLA. LoK is optional in my opinion. Only watch LoK if you feel the need for more Avatar, but be ready to be disappointed. Also at this point I'd recommend you just wait until LoK ends just in case you feel like having a LoK binge, so you don't catch up and have to wait every week like us.

tl;dr Watch A:tLA asap and watch LoK based on how much you liked A:tLA.

Started watching it when it first came out and then stopped for like a year. A month or so ago I started watching it again. Now I'm on the last season of LOK.

you already know what everyone on this site is going to tell you

if you feel like watching it, watch it. you don't need to ask a redundant question that you already know the answer to

Everything written by Timothy Zahn is gold. Read them in order of publication though, as they do contain loads of references to eachother. So start with the Thrawn Tilogy.

Tales of the Bountry Hunters.

The Truce at Bakura.

The Courtship of Princess Leia.

These are my favorites.

Star Wars: Tales of the Bounty Hunters. This has always been one of my all time favorites. It goes through the stories of the bounty hunters sent after Han Solo. It is really cool.

depending on where ya want to start off, id go for the books right after return of the jedi, as they will explain the begginings of the new republic and a couple good trigies within

One being the thrawn triliogy, jedi acadamy trilogy, etc

Start with the Han Solo trilogy. Look it up at your local library, it should be easy enough to find.
