Gay marriage in a church should not be banned by law, I believe each church has the right to decide individually if they want to allow gay marriage, or not. If Church X doesn't want it then maybe Church Y, does.

That is true, but you have to remember that there are a lot of different beliefs in Christianity (and other religions too). I do agree that most will frown upon it but I'm sure there has to be a more "liberal" church out there. One that believes that everyone will have to answer to God and not them (the people of the church), individually. That everyone has the free will to do anything, as long as it does not hurt someone else. If they get into a gay marriage then they will only answer to God and not them, just like those who lie, cheat, steal, etc. do. I'm not religious so I don't believe gay marriage is wrong, just saying that there is probably a more open minded church, out there.
