No idea - the map is the same one as was in my textbook in high school. Blame the American education system.

She's not into that kind of stuff, I tried to get my dad to watch it, but he only laughed at some of the dialogue.

Maybe "proud" was the wrong word. I'm not particularly proud of any of them things, haha.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it bugs me that people of different races, sexual orientations, backgrounds or even religions are celebrated and even have various days to be "proud" or happy about who they are. But if you had "White Pride Day" or "Straight Sex Day" everyone would be up in arms about how disgusting and wrong it is. I know it is kinda childish but it just bugs me. Everyone else gets to celebrate who they are but the rest of us are made to feel bad for doing so.
And feminism has reached a point where pretty much ANYTHING a male says or does is somehow sexist and only being used to further oppress them. So men are pretty much no longer allowed an opinion on the subject.
I guess I'm not great at making points. But you get me, right?

I get you.
Where I think that comes from is the attitude where anyone who's a minority is assumed to have it difficult for them and needing of special attention. People should stand on their own relevant merits all over. People always mix being something with doing something, so a celebration of what you are becomes an issue of what someone has done somewhere somewhen (never somewhy because everybody already "knows" the answer is racism etc) and vice versa, plus the people who have gotten caught up with it the most talk presumptuously about it the most and vice versa, it's all a mess. Comes from the same generalized stereotype-based race-based thinking as those racists, which equals whites which equals majority amirite?
