Anarcho-capitalism was, like the name suggests, invented by a bunch of libertarians who went "uhhh the government doesn't do ANYTHING right so we should just literally abolish the concept of the state and let capitalism rule everything."
Proponents argue it would be really good because by making all currently existing government services into privatized companies you eliminate the need for taxation and everyone would be like, totally free, man. (someone else will have to explain this well because I honestly just don't get it). Anyone with a lick of sense argues that by turning everything up to and including the justice system into a commodity those with most money and most weaponry would just seize power and become god-kings.(ie modern day somalia)

Like it's hard to pick an ideology even dumber than communism but if I had to pick one that'd probably be it.

Taxation is compulsory through the state's coercive monopoly on the services it's claimed to provide to its subjects, so it becomes completely unaccountable to actual consumer demand.
In a stateless society aware of a government's deceptive strategies, a small minority seizing all of the power and the most money and weaponry for that matter would have to be based on actual merit and success on the free market instead on the pretense of merely claiming to represent god's or the people's will, and with like you believing them. And that would be virtually impossible too, because their methods would probably spread rapidly through their culture and market to their competitors, as there wouldn't be a central authority to enforce patent law i.e. information protectionism.
A free market in dispute resolution and contract law would only fall to your little god-kings if they somehow could manage to convince everyone in their society to surrender all of their means of self-defense and critical thought to them in some kind of a massive bout of irrational mass hysteria. (unlikely, am I right, my good man?)
P.S. Modern day Somalia is not an example of free market anarchy turning into chaos.
P.P.S. Don't talk to me or my son ever again.

It sounds like modern day USA. Everything privately owned, including politicians.
