No, I'm not mad at those comedians is what I'm trying to say. I dislike the way Europeans treat Europe as the central hub of the Universe, as if everything revolves around it, that it's expected of Americans to know every European country (shame on you and your family if you don't know where Belgium is, and can't differentiate between its flag and Germany's. And you can go die in a hole if you ever call Finland Scandinavian) but I don't think I've met a single European (or somebody from anywhere other than North America) who can name a good amount of American states. The way they expect everybody to know everything about Europe without knowing anything of other cultures shows the amazing amount of arrogance that many Europeans have.

If you want an example, just go on a Polandball comic. You'll probably find several angry Polish people bitching about how massively stupid the comic makers were for putting the Polish flag upside down.

Just because you're a comedian doesn't mean you can say whatever you want, first of all. But I'm not mad at that specific skit, like I said, it's just when people do it normally that it pisses me off, and this post just reminded me of that.

Ok the comedian bit saying what they want ill ignore because thats like telling a baker not to bake but the second bit? so you dislike sarcasm? and a dry sense of humour? or is it the british because im confused as to whether you're a bigot or just dislike a certain humour?

What I said doesn't apply to this specific post, it's just in general and the cuntiness coming off the Brits reminded me of how much I hate when people are like that.

How is that cuntiness? have you ever seen noel fielding or julian barratt? they're comedians, are you seriously going to mistake them for being serious in this? and you forget that our sense of humour is dry, I for one adore our sense of humour! we're known for it! you literally need to take you're melon out of your buns for a split second and think before you react!

it doesnt fucking equal one. its just taken as 1 in maths because realistically it is. its not 1.
#51 - kingkee (03/16/2014) [-]
tends to infinity. you keep overlooking that bit! you can never reach infinity, therefore the answer will never reach the number one per se but will equal 1
#49 - kingkee (03/16/2014) [-]
it literally does, it equals 1! if n is time and time is infinite as n tends to infinity any probability tends to one and thus equates to 1.

Look.

All I was saying is approaching one doesnt mean one.

Realistically and pratically yes, but theoretically no.
#47 - kingkee (03/16/2014) [-]
But that's an entirely different argument? that has no cause over whether something happens in an infinite amount of time! and if n approaches infinity then approaching one does mean 1 as if n was infinity (which cant happen of course) then it would be 1 and that is it reaching the complete outcome, which it cant because infinity is never ending of course, but that doesnt take away from the fact it equals 1

This is where you have gone wrong.

Just because it is possible doesnt mean it has to happen. Not everything that is possible has to happen
#45 - kingkee (03/15/2014) [-]
ahhhh!!! it literally does, everything that can happen will happen in infinity! if it comes to a googolplex amount of years and it still hasnt happened there is still an infinite 'googolplex's of time for it to stil happen and if after a googolplex * googolplex of time later it still hasnt happened there is still an infinite amount of time for it to happen! it will happen! guaranteed because you can never measure it not happening because youd be cutting the time to a finite amount!
