I wasn't factoring in texture mods cause anybody that demands them are...well I'm not gonna go into that argument but....well.. yeah anyways. Yeah I know they struggle a bit, but the vast majority of mod content is not enhanced textures and thus will still run about on par with the vanilla version. However that highlights my bigger issue with the consoles, 30 fps and struggling to maintain it. THATS a valid argument against getting the game on a console right there, the consoles performance vs the pc's.

My store really wasn't too bad. Ofcourse there were some excentric characters. People who seem to not come outside too much, or have a slightly weird appereance. But no cringey talk. Yu gi oh players on the other hand.

You can't blame a Yu-gi-oh player for being a little cringe. The show clearly demonstrates that cringe is all but necessary for playing the game.

There are some who call out on the cringe

So what did he actually die of? Made me think of this guy in the news a while back who had almost died just walking down the street, because his heart stopped. Not a heart attack, it just stopped from one moment to the next. He was lucky someone was nearby when it happened. That fucked me up and made me a bit paranoid for a couple days.

Anyway, last year Kyle managed to pick up a part time job at the mall. It was Thanksgiving. He was supposed to be working the Black Friday shift. For the three years prior to that year, he would be at my family's house to have lunch or part of dinner during Thanksgiving but passed this year to sleep before his shift. I'll admit I was a little sad he didn't show up for Thanksgiving at the time, but at the same time I was happy that he had finally picked up that part time job. It's a weird feeling being that excited that someone had picked up a part time gig at the mall. When he had told me that he picked up the job, we were so excited for the weeks to come so he could improve his deck and actually start playing competitively at our local tournaments.
After Thanksgiving dinner, my brother and I had friends over playing Smash and whatnot and were deciding where we'd all go to camp out for Black Friday. I remember I was about to step outside for a cigarette when my brother got a call from Kyle's mom saying he had died. We all drove to his house and waited outside 'cause the police wouldn't let us into his room. His mother explained to us that she was going to wake him up to get ready for his Black Friday shift and found him face down in his bed and he was already stiff. I know it's cliche, but I honestly couldn't believe he was truly dead until I saw his body hauled away into a van. I don't remember how long it had been prior to that night when I had cried - probably several years, but I cried my fucking heart out .
I think the next Sunday, Kyle's funeral was held. It was already a shitty feeling to have lost someone that felt like a little brother. I still hate myself for even thinking this, but it felt worse when I was at the actual funeral because Kyle's dad asked my little brother to be a pallbearer. My brother and I are dicks to each other in a joking way, but always want good things for one another. It crushed my soul to see my brother have to carry his best friend's funeral. They both just barely 18. Just last month it was his birthday and I went to visit his grave and discovered that my little brother and his friends were already there and had stuck little candles in the grass that spelled out, "Happy Birthday."
Sorry for the really terribly written, near incoherent post. Just kinda spilled, I normally don't. It's the only thing in my life that has overwhelmed me like this.
Rest in peace, little brother.
Pic related, it's (left to right) Kyle, my friend Bryant, and I at a M:tG event.
