Kind of. All the other ones opened a portal to another dimension and fled when they were attacked, with him, Azimuth, and Angela being the only three left behind. Wish Insomniac would hurry up and make a sequel to "A Crack in Time" already.
User avatar #22 - azimuth (12/23/2014) [-]
Insomniac has said that they aren't adding anything onto the newer games, there is no doubt just going to be another time skip like what happened after the original trilogy. At the current time they haven't said anything about a new game but it's very likely they will make another trilogy after they finish the movie, which i have been waiting for all my life.
User avatar #23 - lapsushominum (12/23/2014) [-]
Did your name summon you here?
What I was getting at was that the original trilogy and the future trilogy were part of the same continuity even though there was a time skip between them. Are you saying that it's likely that the story will be continued not with a sequel but with a third trilogy?
User avatar #27 - azimuth (12/24/2014) [-]
Yeah it was the name. Yeah I think its going to be another trilogy with new characters, mainly because they seemed to round off Nexus relatively well and it doesn't seem to have something else that needs to be solved (Like some kind of enemy who isn't gone) but I feel like there will be a time skip so that the characters aren't still moping about Cronk and Zephyr being blown the fuck up. . I'm kind of hoping that they bring back Sasha and the galactic troopers (Thats just because I thought they were awesome as fuck though.) but I just hope that they take a look back at the original games when they make new ones, because truthfully Nexus was a piece of shit. The animation looked odd, they actually changed the controls around, it was way too short and it just seemed like they could have done so much more with it if they had just put the movie on hold for a little while longer. Thats just my opinion though.

When I got GTA 3 I played it with some cheat codes. One of them allowed the car to jump when you pressed the thumbstick in. After a long weekend of playing and not going anywhere, my thumb reflexively pressed "in" on the steering wheel as I approached a line of cars stopped at a red light. It took me a moment to register what happened and I almost slammed into them as I hadn't slowed down in preperation for my "jump"

Same here. Insurance in my area is among the highest in North America. A shitbox 93 Civic will usually cost a young driver 7-8 grand CAD to insure. Even if got it for 1k, it usually cost 5-6 more to insure a honda/acura 2 or 3 door. Especially if you're under 25 and single.

The a/c is fucked and the undercarriage is starting to rot, and the intake manifold is leaking coolant like a faucet, and its beige on beige cloth, and the brakes are garbage.... and the ignition needs to be replaced because of a recall. Relatively rust free, honestly.

That's the car.

My moms gonna give me her 2001 Chevy Malibu v6. The a/c is fucked and the undercarriage is starting to rot, and the intake manifold is leaking coolant like a faucet, and its beige on beige cloth, and the brakes are garbage.... and the ignition needs to be replaced because of a recall. But its a car, so lifes good. The heater and the radio work I guess. I gonna trade it for an EK hatch as soon as I can. If not junk it for down payment cash.
User avatar #57 - kikkilinu (12/14/2014) [-]
That's garbage compared to what I got.

Honestly, the only thing the car I got needs is a tire replaced, a CV replaced, some interior work done (has some missing screws) a really good wash and detail, and that's really it.
User avatar #59 - fukkentyranitar (12/14/2014) [-]
Its really just to get from point a to point b without taking public transit because fuck that shit. Its just a placeholder really. i may get a hawkeye Impreza but until I've got the bank for it, I'm stuck with the strugglemobile. Maybe I'll stance it out and put a straight pipe on it.
User avatar #60 - kikkilinu (12/14/2014) [-]
Man, believe me, I know how you feel. That's the exact reason why I want a car. I mean, I could drive it without a license, but what would happen if I got caught is never worth it.

An Impreza? Damn, those are pretty nice, and pricey. Just a regular base model, or you going for the full WRX STI?
User avatar #61 - fukkentyranitar (12/14/2014) [-]
Maybe a WRX. An STI is 14k and up. If I had that kind of cash, I wouldn't be pushing a Malibu. My dad lets me drive his Honda Pilot though. Which is nice.
User avatar #62 - kikkilinu (12/14/2014) [-]
That Nova I bought is probably the only thing I'll drive for a while.
My grandma seriously thinks I'll be able to get a really really good car for 2K Euro.
A broken down smashed 80's BMW sells more for that, let alone a mint car.

And I told her. No American cars, no French cars, no German cars. Just Japanese.
No Honda though. Turbo Diesel is a must.

She won't find one.
User avatar #63 - fukkentyranitar (12/14/2014) [-]
Why not a diesel golf or bora?
User avatar #64 - kikkilinu (12/14/2014) [-]
Because every massive douche on the planet either drives a Golf or a Civic in my country.
User avatar #73 - fukkentyranitar (12/14/2014) [-]
User avatar #74 - kikkilinu (12/15/2014) [-]
It;s like, 250 Euro a year to insure here. And maybe 150 license.
If the car falls under vintage, it's about 150 to insure and 8 euro to license.

(prices always depend on the car, of course. Mainly engine size.)

User avatar #58 - kikkilinu (12/14/2014) [-]
Yeah, I've seen all the episodes. The model I bought doesn't have that.

..nor does it have a hazard switch, apparently.

Nice! What kind of car?
User avatar #23 - kikkilinu (12/13/2014) [-]
Well, it was an older Opel Nova with the 1.2L petrol engine swapped out for a 1.7L Isuzu turbo diesel, but I bought it behind my grandma's back and when I told her, she nearly had a stroke, so I'm gonna sell it again. Since I signed for the transfer sheet, it has to be in my name now.
#34 - swagbot (12/13/2014) [-]
Don't Turbo-Diesels get great fuel mileage?

Anyways, i hope you don't lose your shirt if you resell it.
User avatar #35 - kikkilinu (12/13/2014) [-]
They tend to. This one is great though. Nothing but boost all day.

I hope so too. I mean, it was only 600 Euro's, but, you know.
#36 - swagbot (12/13/2014) [-]
WHAT!?!?!
A well-running turbo-diesel? Bruh do NOT sell that shit - explain the benefits to your grandma, keep the car, and save $$$ while driving a reliable set of wheels.
User avatar #37 - kikkilinu (12/13/2014) [-]
She's not having any of it.
She's a bitter old hag.

I mean, I drive first gear fairly slow, but when I shift into second and I'm feeling it, foot all the way down.

That fucking engine is good enough to set off from third gear. starting from a standstill.
#38 - swagbot (12/13/2014) [-]
Damn, that is sad to hear - Sounds like it would've been a sturdy ride!
#39 - kikkilinu (12/13/2014) [-]
Pretty much yeah. It had a strut bar in the front, to support the extra weight of the much bigger engine.

Relatively rust free, honestly.

That's the car.
