I've looked around. in the manga, they don't use the japanese characters for Blouse, they use the character for Shower, or Brausse in english. I've also looked on a few wikis. the only place I can find "Blouse" is an offshoot page that only has a redirect to sasha Brausse

the only part of that that actually says Blouse is the name box, which is pending for editing. I have an account with that wikia. the person who put that can't edit anymore

I just use it to follow those people, I also follow on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and DeviantArt, because they also post other stuff, I find quite interesting or funny Also there's porn And one of the many benefits I found on Tumblr is, that you can create a new account, which has no relations to your other accounts, post "follow for follow" texts, with tags, and once you have hundreds of followers, you advertise your own stuff. People, that are interested in it will follow your real account, and there's no bullshit around it.

Exactly, there's not going to be an agreement here. We believe that, treated rightly, every topic can be directed at children. You don't, you draw a line... somewhere and state that events beyond that line are not to be crossed. Therefore we wont come to an agreement for that basic line. You believe in sheltering, we believe in confronting. Nothing wrong with the juxtaposition, but they don't have much in common.

I personally don't believe in sensorship/"sheltering" but there is a point to draw the line. Little kids don't need the super dark stuff but they should be some leniency. But the ater books are simply, in my opinion, too dark for "little kids" and are aimed at tweens/teens.

No they didn't. Because it's like a security blanket, sure darkness surrounds them but for all the harshness sacrifices are never made by the main character. In fact, everyone goes out of their way to protect him. He's always safe because people look out for him and love him and those people will always do good for him. Which is not bad, it just isn't really dark. Are you American by any chance?
User avatar #114 - kibi (02/15/2014) [-]
The people trying to protect him, all around him, die though. The last book has a huge body count, on account of them trying to protect him.

Yeah, I am, but that is completely irrelevant to the conversation.

No it doesn't 'cause its not portrayed onscreen. See, what makes something dark is not actually what's there but how's written. "Once upon a time there were tons of happy people, then a sentient chainsaw landed and killed them all" is not dark, if anything it's ridiculous. And kids can be exposed to the darkness of the world, as mentioned above the Toy Story movies revolve entirerly around mortality and the third one even includes portrayals of hell, purgatory and heaven. In fact, most children stories back in the day used to be... very gruesome, like the way Snow White repaid the dwarfs their hospitality. Children's entertaintment in fact is really only diferent in that it should instil a couple of values and treat topics more sensibly because it's dealing with shaping minds.
User avatar #109 - kibi (02/15/2014) [-]
We're discussing the books, not movies. And go ahead and try to read the last one to a kindergartner and see how quickly they get upset. Shit got brutal, the point of the books was to grow up with the people reading them. And they did as they got progressively darker.

I believe the books were aimed for the growing audience. I was pretty much the same age as the main movie protagonists, which definitely helped develop my boner for Emma and made me a huge fan of the series. I followed both the books and movies and they were both great, but the bond with the movies is that they were 2001-2011, or in my age, from 9 to 19 years of my life.

User avatar #49 - thebestpieever (02/15/2014) [-]
No... because the original tale was a bedtime story for JK kids. The whole things is for kids. Death does not automatically make something not for kids, the moral of the story is "love conquers everything" for Christ's sake.

I know nothing on this subject, so I request more information on the vibrating toothbrush. Why did it hurt so much? I thought more would be better...?
User avatar #158 to #157 - kibi (03/10/2014) [-]
Everything in moderation, my friend. Over-stimulation can be pretty painful, especially since that area is sensitive. Some of the "turbo" brushes vibrate so hard just holding it in your hand for a while makes it buzz. It's basically like getting a massage and getting a super hard jab to a sweet spot, but repeatedly. It looses it's appeal in 0.0002 second and just becomes painful.
