 But how likely is it that GMO crops will spread into the wilderness and become invasive? As far as i know commercialized crops don't thrive well in nature, but then again i'm not particularly well read in this subject its actually relatively common. GMO rice has already been shown to hybridize with a wild "weed" rice, and gain its resistances. And thats only through hybridization, direct colonization through wind dispersal, water, and bird droppings make GMO fields incredibly difficult to completely contain and isolate.
