I actually find it wierd that people don't, but that's just how I grew up. It make sense to me since basicly most of our familly name's come from proffessions or hobbies people had in their time.

To each their own. Opinions are subjective's to one's willingness to accept it and we clearly are on two different roads. I'm off for now.

Eh, I'm from an Mechanic/Engineer familly, who grew with similar proffessions friends. So I grew up with cars being basicly the main point of interest. I wouldn't say we go as far as put our car in our name as a ''middle name'' but I know a few people who we call them by their car name because that's always how they've been called and owned

I've heard people being name ''Goerge, the yugioh guy'' or '' Jenny, the harry potter chick'' so I could totally see ''Jim ''claymore'' happen and so go for Jack (or J-AK47) happen

car freaks are kinda messed up....vehicles have only ever been modes of transport, its only those who fall for the media hype like good little sheep who buy into the boys toys image

I wouldn't cry over a vehicule that was meant to be destroyed, but I do tend to go ''God dang that's a nice car that just got blown up''.

People who love cars are just like these who love swords, guns, books, etc. Its a hobby and to some an obsession.

its just 4 wheels to get from A to B

comfortable to sit in while travelling....getting people to and from places where real socializing happens, what pleasure other than banging a chick in the back seat

get to and from work, hangouts/friends places, shops etc...just a transport

if you 'need' a car to be part of your image then you had a pretty shit image to begin with
User avatar #157 - kevinator (11/15/2014) [-]
To me, driving isn't going from A to B, it's the point.

Comfy to go for 300-400 miles trips. Road Rallies are massive social events (to me, the best kind there is)

Driving pleasure: Squeezing 400-500 HP out of your engine for the adrenaline rush, go for 4-5 hours long trip from place to place taking picture of the car in different places.

Go to work and from work to get as much fuel as possible to go for a ride @ night. Hang out with your buds in the lots talking about what you did/gonna do to your baby.

To me, not having a car in your personnal image is just wrong. I usually refer to people by what car they have. People could tell me ''Hey man, how was the pool night with johny you had about a month ago?'' and I'd go ''who?'' , than if I'd get ''Johny with the mustang'' than I'd remember who it was.

I
