Sorry I didn't reply sooner somehow missed your reply. And I meant without any negative side effects. Drink too much water and you die, same goes for those drugs take them as frequently as its safe and there's no consequences in most people.

first off, you'll need a lot of psychedelics to end up with ptsd or take it with out knowing it. second, it's not so much as "enilghtenment" but an epiphany.

my friend was telling me that one of the times he took acid, he hung out with his little brother and sister, had a lot of fun, and when it wore off he kinda realized he doesn't do that enough and he started hanging around them more.

i've had multiple friends stop smoking cigarettes after shroom trips. personally, after the first time i tripped, i stopped smoking pot. when you trip, you end up seeing things from a different perspective, it's almost like seeing your life through someone elses eyes and that's why some people think of it as an "enlightening experience"

so what? people have a shitton of experiences when they are drunk too and realise stuff they havent realised sober.

also dont underestimate drugs.
The greatest risks of long-term use of DMT are psychological, since use puts the individual at the risk of developing psychosis and experiencing persistent flashbacks and hallucinations. Flashbacks can occur frequently and spontaneously. Some users may experience flashbacks of drug experiences months or even years after use. Flashbacks may cause a feeling of re-experiencing the hallucinogenic trip, resulting in a re-emergence of visual or auditory hallucinations or a reliving of traumatic memories or experiences 2.
Frequent use of the classic hallucinogens – as class to which DMT belongs – can lead to persistent psychosis. Symptoms of persistent psychosis include 2:

Disordered mood.
Disorganized thought.
Persistent paranoia.
Visual disturbances.
Another mental health problem that may arise due to frequent use of hallucinogens is referred to as hallucinogen persisting perception disorder (HPPD). Symptoms include 2:
Hallucinations and visual disturbances.
Symptoms that would be present with other neurological problems such as brain tumors or cerebrovascular accident (i.e., stroke).

dmt is also produced in your brain itself, and studies have shown that shizophrenic people have a higher dose of it in their brains (simplified).
you can say whatever you want, and you can do whatever you want. i have seen enough people get fucked up by it (in their own ways from alcohol, weed, shrooms, lsd, speed, cocaine, heroine, dmt, and so on...)
its just like russian roulette. nothing else.

Hence the some people statement, 90%(approximately) of healthy Adults can take those drugs regularly(dependant on drug) without any known negative side effects, other than maybe a bad trip.

However most people who end up taking drugs are in the 10% left over, also don't take psychs if you have a pre-existing medical condition, especially anxiety etc as chances are you're gonna have a bad trip and make your anxiety worse. Also Schizophrenia is another big one as psychs can trigger/make it worse.

But that's like saying milk shouldn't be advertised as being good for you(in anyway) because there are lactose intolerant people that its not good for.

saying 90% of people can consume it every now and then without significant negative effects doesnt mean its good for them.
thats basically what i'm saying, that such a glorification of psychedelic drugs is bullshit in my opinion

Sorry the 10% should have related to healthy people with underlying medical conditions it can trigger, the actual percentage is lower. The rest relates to 'unhealthy' people with mental disorders etc.

Those 3 drugs have all known to be highly therapeutic and in many cases incredibly good for people.

Of course they're not entirely good, So I agree we shouldn't glorify them, but I'd be lying if I said(especially for some people) it wasn't good for you in multiple ways or at minimum can be a great experience.

MDMA for example has been known to 'cure' Anxiety. Like most things moderation is the key, you fall into a trap of excess and that's when things go south, however none of those three drugs are addictive chemically(MDMA is I think, though).

since you brought up that therapeutic argument:

stuff that can be used therapeutical doesnt have to be good for you under all circumstances. its the same with all psychopharmaka
