first time I played it was on the 3DS. Completed it in less than an hour, and I just sat there thinking "thats it?"

Thing is, the creators never tried to make the water temple that hard, it was some sort of design flaw with the level that they over looked, and they fixed it in the 3DS version

What was that flaw?
I remember one of the things they improved was that you could equip the water steel boots without going into the menu

Yea, they even apologized for making the temple so hard because it was unintentional. But that might've been something else they added as well

I totally forgot there was an Ocarina of Time port for the 3DS. Guess I'm adding it to my list of "games I'm buying when I finally buy a 3DS".

they made it easier for the 3DS version, but its still way over hyped. i was 10 when i first played it and still beat it in less than 2 hours. i don't even really remember thinking it was that hard :/

Honestly, I don't know anyone who liked the first until just recently. I used to be embarrassed to play it, now apparently everyone loves it. The same with Pokemon, it wasn't until the DS that my friends actually started to enjoy it. I'm either friends with a bunch of idiots or hype comes and goes at weird times.

I borrowed a friend's for a while. Mario Kart 7 was probably the best game at the time. Luigi's Mansion 2 and Harvest Moon are games that I must get.

Luigis mansion is awesome, but not as good as the original one.
I liked it better when the ghosts had more personality.

Yeah, I've waited years for a Pikmin 3, but what really hooked me was the announcement of Windwaker HD. I had lost the disc years ago and I finally get to play it again. It seems that all the good titles Nintendo had planned on releasing are finally making it out there. Pretty soon I should be getting a 3DS because it actually has games now.

Get Kid Icarus if you're getting the 3DS. I bought it and it has had tons of replayability.

My problem with the WiiU is the lack of games it currently has, well as far as I know.
Backwards compatibility wouldn't matter for me because I never owned a PS3, but I do own a 360 and not having backwards compatibility really killed my hopes of the console. I'll probably sell it for a better computer or just to clear up space.
#115 - kameli (06/22/2013) [-]
The lack of new releases is true, but nothing else has been released on other platforms neather, so I'd just say its a dry season on all consoles atm.
There should be some major titles coming out during the summer like Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101.
Pikmin 3 was ennough reasons for me to get the console. I'm just really disapointed about the release date, since they originally said that its going to be a "launch window" release.
