 They've been releasing DLC for a year now It can't go on forever 4 new fighters Only one of which was based on (Conspicuously unreleased) ballot results None of which are unlikely to have been put in to advertise other games. 40% of the DLC was swords It's like if the final generation of Pokemon games only had ten new pokemon. And two were just forms. And three others were evolutions. And one was a baby pokemon. I'm a lot less assmad about it than I was before, since I've played Cloud and he was a lot better than I was expecting, but I still think it's bullshit. 3/7 characters was swords. Bayonetta might not have gotten in without the ballot, but I'm not convinced a bunch more characters didn't get higher than her, but were denied entry because Nintendo didn't want to bother with rights they didn't already own, which wouldn't be a problem if they didn't say any video game character was possible.
