I know people aren't supposed to do this. But people give more respect to certain theories than others. Einstein's relativity laws are way up there on the list.
Similarly to how we don't refer to the pythagorean theorem as "that triangle proof," we don't refer to Einstein's theories of relativity as JUST a theory. It's technically true that the pythagorean theorem is just a proof about triangles. And it's true that Einstein's Special theory of relativity is just a theory. But it revolutionized modern physics, for christ sake.

the pythagorean theorem is proven by the way

Gravity is a theory.

To be fair, you can't really declare anything as a law. Just because gravity has performed according to expectations at every point in the know past does not mean that it will always do so. Technically, everything is a theory. Some are just more likely than others. And while it seems extremely unlikely that something like gravity could ever be disproven, we once thought that for sure that the Earth was flat, too. You never know what science will uncover, and thinking that you can be certain about anything is only going to blind you to certain possibilities.
tl;dr nothing is set in stone, mate. Scientific research has been proving that point for as long as it has existed.

We clearly have different meaning of the word "right". My definition is "correct" or something along those lines.
2. a statement of fact, deduced from observation, to the effect that a particular natural or scientific phenomenon always occurs if certain conditions are present.(law)
: an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true(theory)

I kind of side with you on this one, because people still say gravity is just a theory, and it's pretty fucking proven that it exists (not to mention we have a velocity for this planets gravity and a few other planets/moons/stars). But at the same time it really is still a theory and last I checked doesn't have enough solid evidence for us to start ignoring the "theory" part of it.
Just because it's a theory doesn't mean it's not helpful to science. Even a completely wrong theory is helpful to science.
