I hate dubbed, it's so annoying. I want to watch my movies/series in the original language and use subs. Sure you need to focus more on reading and might miss small things in the background, but it's worth it. So i highly recommend to watch the orginal with english subs.

Anyways. There's something I don't understand. If Otonashi's heart is in Angel, doesn't that mean Angel would have to die after Otonashi? But she is already at the school when he arrives... That is the weirdest part for me I think.

Also, I use the names Otonashi and Angel because I am used to them...

That's one of the side ways points of the anime. The characters didn't all show up in chronological order, and there seems to be a cyclical relationship to the entire thing.

Such as the computer program designed to eat everything. If you read deep into it, you can actually deduce that it was the previous Otonashi that created that after losing Angel, but then not realizing he'd found his own desire when he fulfilled hers and she vanished, thus the "alternate ending" that you can find were he is left behind and becomes the new student council president. So he was stuck there without her, and it wasn't until the next time around that things worked out.

The anime itself seems focus more on Reincarnation than Heaven, with the school being the 'in between.' Heaven was simply an assumption that the characters themselves made.

Long story short, Yui got to get married after she disappeared. The same way Otonashi got to be with Angel.
