Why does there need to be a god? is it because you need to find comfort in believing that you will eventually be immortal and live your life with your family and friends? If you believe evolution exists then there would be no need for a supreme being. Just my thoughts though. If you want to believe in god then that's fine but it somewhat bothers me that christians will deny something for years/decades/centuries and when we know it's almost 100% proof then they use the excuse of "oh, it was all because of god!". It happened when we found out the world was round, it happened when we found out the solar system was not the only thing in the universe and it has happened with evolution and will happen with everything else in science. It's a step back from logical thinking IMO.  #643
