That's actually Neal Caffrey, aka, Danny Brooks, George Devore, George Danvery, Nicholas "Nick" Halden, Gary Rydell, Victor Moreau, Chris Gates, James Maine, neal Armstrong, Neal Craig, William Grey, George Donnelly, Dr. Leonard Parker, Steve Tabernacle and Benjamin Cooper (could be more that I forgot, or new ones since I last saw the show).

Played by Matt Bomer in the tv show White Collar. Bald dude next to him Mozzie.

TF2 was good until the F2P update

also, you can find/craft everything without crates, so there's really no point in opening them.

F2P UPDATE!? Gods, you people will bitch about anything won't you? The Meet The Medic patch and F2P announcement was just after June 19th, 2011 (awesome after-bday thing for me) and was to TF2 what palletss of meat were to Gaga's career: A huge fucking boost that nobody understood.. The new class and the new players saw one of the biggest rises of popularity for the game and it's still popular and running strong (At least I assume it is because I can't get people to EVER shut up about it) thanks to that. Yeah, they have to charge for SOMETHING, or else the game will belly-up after a couple weeks due to them not being able to cover costs. Why not make junk that complete idiots will buy to keep your game afloat for you! So next time you see one of those shit players who sounds like they understand nothing but autistic hoots while their big black daddy puts a new expressway in their rear paying for this stupid shit... Thank them for keeping the game you enjoy afloat... at least before you shove a boot up their dumb-ass Red Foreman-style.
tl;dr: f2p releases are only bad for a game's community for the first few weeks. You want a game to last? Make it f2p.

Idiotic.

"The new class and the new players saw one of the biggest rises of popularity for the game and it's still popular and running strong "
-NEW CLASS? Medic was there from the get-go, noob. Also, its popularity didn't drop much at any point, so there was really no point in doing something so dramatic.

"Yeah, they have to charge for SOMETHING, or else the game will belly-up after a couple weeks due to them not being able to cover costs."
-Or they could just, you know, charge the people for the whole game and earn more, while sustaining the high quality of the game. Now it's filled with F2P idiots, trolls and hackers who think they can do anything just because the game is F2P so they won't lose the game if they don't behave.
User avatar #293 - dharkmoswen (07/16/2014) [-]
Oh? I misunderstood why they did the whole "Meet The Medic" at that time and whatnot. What was so special about the Medic at the F2P release? And can you really call someone who DOESN'T play a noob?
Over time, they gained more money than they would have for limiting it to P2P. They charged for it at release, PLUS now they bring in money from the idiots who pay for the crates. Don't misunderstand, I don't think they NEED the money they're bringing in to keep the game running. They have other games, as well as plenty of stashed money from all their successful sales. They do, however, still use gains from the current system to help maintain the current costs to keep the game running. Keeping a game P2P, however, does not earn more money due to the fact that only so many people can/will buy the game. LoL will bring in more money on a month to month basis than WoW will JUST WoW, not Blizzard in general due to the fact that in one month the average user spends the subscription and maybe an extra. LoL players like me will end up spending $50 a month or more (depending on sales and new champ releases)

Also... NOT a neanderthal, idiot, etc. I someetimes have faulty facts. All of us are guilty of that from time to time. If I am mistaken on something, show me. If you think you're such an expert, teach me. If you start with calling somoene a moron, they're probably not going to listen to you and nobody likes wasting their time.
#319 - bestfoxgirl (07/16/2014) [-]
Ok apart from every other mistake, just a couple of things:

1. I didn't say you play like a noob, I said that you are a noob cause you didn't even know anything about the updates
2. I didn't call you a neanderthal, evilwheatleycore did.
3. I didn't call you a moron either.
User avatar #320 - dharkmoswen (07/16/2014) [-]
1. My mistake. I wass wondering what that had to do witth anything. Sorry, I'm sick and should REALLY learn to stop debating when I've got a fever >.<
2. I know, I figured he'd see it as well.
3. I didn't mean verbatim. Calling someone an idiot is the same thing. It all gets the same uninterested result.
#213 - evilwheatleycore (07/16/2014) [-]
It's TF2, they earned all the money they needed back at launch. There is a reason it went F2P, because they could afford to let people play it for free. Besides that, Valve have never been the type of company to not set the bar in everything they do. As much as I hate the bitchy, troll-ridden, shit-eating community, TF2 has the single most balanced F2P system I've ever seen.

Though I agree that dharkmoswen is a neanderthal.
User avatar #295 - dharkmoswen (07/16/2014) [-]
Sorry, but that's not the way online games work. They still have overhead, server space, etc. to cover for. The sales they made in the first three years of the game likely would not be enough to cover all the costs they've had since they went F2P
#162 - samoaspider (07/16/2014) [-]
-strange weapons
-killstreak kits
-unusual taunts / taunts overall
-unusual hats
-majority of hats overall
-more hats
-fuck thats a lot of hats

(also for sume dumb reason they put pallet of crates inside crates)
User avatar #164 - bestfoxgirl (07/16/2014) [-]
So basically nothing worthy of buying a key.

crates inside crates? And what would be in those crates, I mean the crates that are in crates?
User avatar #166 - samoaspider (07/16/2014) [-]
once you open the crates, you flood the server you're in with more crates, giving everyone a crate.

yeah, I was surprised too when they added that shit to the game
