I have plans to. But I want to fine tune my writing some more with shorter pieces before I do. I do havee some fanfics I started sometime ago I should finish, if just to finish them. I mean, I intend on making them good, but I also need to learn to stick to things and see them through so I can get the most feedback possible.

Once I'm more comfortable with my writing, and after doing some more reading, then I might begin on the one I have in mind. I hear I have publishable talent, but raw talent doesn't mean too much if I don't have a plan.

How about poetry?

Poetry is too concise for me. I like to be able to go on a bit more, and let my narrative ramble a bit. That kind of voice has worked for me before, and it's one I like to use. Lets my readers sort of sink into the words a bit more, I think. I can't use so few words well at all. And that whole thing with spacing and punctuation... it's much harder than fiction writing in my opinion. And it's certainly nothing I can do.

Learning a new language... god. I've taken French, Spanish, Russian, German, and Italian through-out my school career. I remember very little of any of it, but I still need to take more for my college credits due to some confusion and misleading about my German credits.

I did intend on brushing up on my Spanish throughout the summer, because I'll be taking more this coming semester, but I am far from motivated from even touching that.

That's why you study a language you want to know, not just do it for the credits.

And that's just what I'd be doing if my classes were lined up properly. I'd love to be in German again, but no. Spanish is where I've been totted off to... and at this point, I'm just doing it for the credits. I've had my fill of trying to do so from passion.
