joshuaww (05/11/2013) [-] A tl;dr version of my mass message which I will repost below for those who did not see/get it. Basically a podcast for Friendly and beyond hosted by me. It will feature interviews with members, discussions between some, and perhaps many. It's just for fun, so shenanigans may ensue. I'd like to do a good number of very focused ones, but jokes are jokes. Interest and involvement is ABSOLUTELY NEEDED for this to be anything more than an idea. tl;dr below.
At this point it's nothing more than an idea, but a while ago someone did some interviews on the FJ brony Board back at around thread 12, or 13, I can't remember. It was short lived, and I think this would be, too, but if people are interested I could interview people about shit just for fun. I'll probably prepare a few default questions to ask just to keep things going, while also trying to make the interview more personal. If we go on tangents, that's cool, too.
The interviews before were about a half-hour, I think, and that's probably what we'll keep it for now. I'll also be up for doing my own kind of Q&A which will either take up it's own half hour segment or be much longer depending on how many questions I, personally, am asked. People are going to be allowed multiple interviews of course, and some MIGHT get longer segments to themselves if I, or the people want it. Phanact would probably be a contender for that considering how much of an image he's become on funny junk.
While most of the people who would be interviewed will no doubt be from Friendly, it is not Friendly only. We'll be probably talking about a lot of subjects, and due to the discourse, no doubt will it be brony and pony centralized at first just to stretch our legs. Either way, anyone is welcome, and anything is game. I like controversial topics, and that'll make it more interesting.
One thing for sure, however, is that there will be absolutely no facecam. This will be all voice. It'll allow the shyer people more confidence, and the anonymous to stay as such. So... I guess this is more like a podcast? I'll change the title. Someone could correct me on that, I'm sure.
Another thing I want to point out is that this is JUST for fun. I don't intend to make myself or anyone internet famous with this. This is just us doing something a bit different if we wanted. This obviously is VERY reliant on people being interested, which is why this is just an idea for now. I need people to interview, and to watch, and ask questions.
As I said, I'll be conducting the interviews, and, as I also said, I'll be preparing questions for the interviewees. If people want, I can give you an idea of what might be asked in the interview, but letting people prepare for every question takes away some of the fun in asking while being live. However, subjects CAN be requested, and I'll adjust my questions to that. I know that kind of contradicts what I said before, but if you want to say something, my podcast would be the place to say it.
I cannot say enough how dependent this will be on interest and involvement. So, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile. If you're interested in seeing it going anywhere, give me some encouragement via... however. Questions should be on the profile so others can see them, ok?

It's just sort of a place to start as the word spreads and the topics expand. I'll probably be sure to poke around in a whole bunch of topics with different people. I was running assault Engie with my gunslinger while he was keeping back and covering everyone as Sniper.
He saved my butt a bunch a times from Spies and Pyro's sneaking up on me and I returned the favor by keeping enemies away from him and the rest of my team.
It's been awhile since I've had such good games, and I'm glad I played with him today.

.Scouts excel at collecting dropped cash from the robots, which are needed for the rest of the team to help with upgrades. Also he is a great distraction because of his speed and can usually avoid any and all damage.
.Soldier has had his role changed to support, due to his buff banner being able to unleash increased damge for himself and his teammates. A well timed buff can obliterate the hoard and get his teammates out of a pinch.
.Demoman is perfect for keeping robots away from the bomb and should focus on always keeping an eye on it. Also a Demo with a kritzkrieg Medic is pretty unstoppable.
.Heavy acts like he does in regular play, by being the tank. With his upgrades, a Heavy can be one of the best anti-robot classes. Being able to shoot rockets and pipes out of the sky and having the ability to cause the largest of robots to fall back. Also having a minigun helps.
.Engie is... well... still area denial. MvM basically becomes a tower defence game for Engie players. Just with more things trying to kill you.
.Spy and Sniper may play differently, but their roles are practically the same. Eliminating key threats with one swift attack. It really dependd on the skill level of the person playing the class that should warrant the team actually needing one of these two.
.Medic is the second most important class, right behind Engie, to have. The ability to heal and overheal your friends in a pinch is crucial if you want to win. It should be noted that the Medigun to use for mvm is the Kritzkrieg. A kritz Heavy or Demo can make short work of anything that comes your way.

joshuaww (05/09/2013) [-] Well.. to be fair only Nintendokami is my pet. But it's sort of a chain of command kind of thing. I'm at the top with her below me, and all of her pets below her. Since I'm at the top, I'm supposed to be the most feared and respected of the lot. Boltam, in particular is one of the brats who decided to play games last night who is Annie's (Kami's) pet. Her most beloved, as well. ThatTFguy... well, he's not in the pyramid. Not yet, anyway. He's not 'into it' as much, even if he plays the part well. It's not official, I guess, but it may as well be.
gggfrt isn't mine anymore. That was just an experiment between us. He was exploring some new things, and still is... but I was too violent or something. Either way we're just friends now.
And, yes, those mentions were purposeful. Since I don't feel like talking to any of them directly, and they're probably all too stupid to understand the ramifications of their actions, they might as well find out somehow.

joshuaww (05/09/2013) [-] Well... all they need to do is profusely apologize. I shouldn't let them get away with it that easily, but any sort of abuse will just fuel them. That's the reason most of them enjoy being pets anyway, the abuse. They want the attention, and abuse comes with that. So, ultimately, the worst thing I could do to them is abandon them, and that's just what I'm doing until each and every one of them show me how sorry they are.
