Oh, there is the source of the problem. Since almost no one has a firearm in your country, you never relieved any education on them. If you had, you would not be nearly as prejudiced against them as you are. A firearm is no more a weapon than a knife. Yes, it was build for war, but it excels in home defense, hunting, and generally keeping us alive when the Mexican drug cartels can just waltz right over the border any time they want. Also, if you're going to argue with people over the internet, proper grammar is kind of important. You're doing nothing but discouraging people from visiting Britain.

haha wow. I would take time to dissect your argument but ... why bother?

I dont agree with banning guns in America now anyway. Its too late for that. There is way to many in circulation.

After you said Cartels just waltz over the border and think grammar is important on the internet, I realized im dealing with a tool.

And you have no experience in a country with good gun laws.

Im done with you. Do not bother replying.

Maybe Chlorine Gas. Try banning ammonia and bleach.
User avatar #160 - Rockaman (04/21/2013) [-]
Either way, guns are a tool designed to kill, whereas ammonia and bleach are cleaning agents. You can kill people with just about anything if you hit them hard enough with it, but at least putting proper safety checks in place to stop dangerous people buying a tool of death should at least save a few lives.
User avatar #921 - spiderfan (04/22/2013) [-]
By that same argument, so are knives, swords, hatchets, bows, and rubbing alcohol.

You obviously over estimate the bravery of an untrained civilian who's best friend lays bleeding in his/her lap. Also, how is it our fault that criminals break the law? Actually they do. They go to the places where they know people are disarmed. As soon as lead flies back at them, they usually commit suicide. You're also failing to grasp the criminal. If we make a law against the ownership of guns, the criminal is still going to own a gun. If the law abiding citizens are armed as well, then they can protect themselves from the criminals. Also, murder with an axe isn't hard. I could easily go to Bass pro and drop 80 bucks on a pair of nice hatchets. If I were to decide to murder people, I have now empowered myself to kill at least two people. since a melee weapon is inherently quiet, the kill count would be rather high.

But whatever, I still loved them. I always though that Slifer had 10K attack and defence, because it says "X000" for both, and X in Roman numerals is 10.

apple uses industry standard components, just like any other PC manufacturer. when they say they "optimize their parts," it's a bunch of marketing rubbish.
User avatar #327 - luidias (04/21/2013) [-]
who decided to go an a butthurt thumb down spree literally hours after this conversation was over?
User avatar #113 - blazekingxxx (04/20/2013) [-]
My IT tech trainer says otherwise, they are standard but they are designed to work together that is why a pc with the same specs would be slightly out performed by a Mac

Think about it PC components are made to work with a range of different types of components, Macs are focused on specifically working with other apple components

I hate Macs but I still can not ignore the truth, Its the same with alienware there components are specifically picked to work well with eachother and they also overcharge like a mother fucker
User avatar #120 - luidias (04/20/2013) [-]
dude, your tech trainer is downright teaching you wrong. There are no "apple components." Apple buys their motherboards, processors, hard drives, etc. all from distributors. Apple only makes the housing (plus interface components) and software.

This is how every computer brand works. They buy parts from distributors, assemble them, and sell them like that. This is why it's generally better to build your own desktop tower, because since it's really easy to build a tower, it's cheaper just to buy the parts and a casing and build it yourself.

User avatar #126 - blazekingxxx (04/20/2013) [-]
I know, I built my own

Specs if you want

AMD 1055T x6 O.C 3.2 Ghz
Corrsair Vengeance 8Gb DDR3 1866Mhz
Asus Sabertooth 2.0 990FX
Sapphire Dual x 7970 (3gb DDR5)
Corrsair 850 W
Case: Cooler Master Haf X
Heatsink : Corrsair H70

You are not grasping what I am trying to say, Most self built PC's have some form of bottle necking because the parts are not always of the same standard which causes a slightly reduced performance in some areas, but pre builts are made to avoid bottle necking of any kind (Not always the case but most common)

User avatar #122 - blazekingxxx (04/20/2013) [-]
I know there are no apple components I just could not be assed to list all of the companies they buy there parts from, but some thought does go into what parts should be used to to ensure there is no bottle necking
User avatar #129 - luidias (04/20/2013) [-]
ooooh, i see what you're saying. You're more talking about choosing parts that work together. I get your meaning now.

mind you, there's various companies that do the same thing with their components, so it's not exclusive to apple. And if you know how to pick your parts, you can easily do the same thing with a custom build.

tl;dr optimizing parts is not exclusive to apple computers.

$30 is assuming you only buy common versions of the cards your looking for, I unfortunately didn't have the luxury of buying common cards and had to get rares on the majority of my decks (Spell Counters with Dark Magician, Elemental Heroes, Machina machine deck, Six Samurai, and Madolche). I got them at the lowest level of rarity though, so spending $1.00-$1.50/card instead of $4.00-$10.00+/card.
