Dang, I know what you mean though. I myself have been playing Freedom Unite too much. I'm waiting to save up for 4U. I still hate how I need a new system considering there's no other game I want (I've already looked at what's there for the 3ds). So buying a console for one game is kind of annoying. When I look at how much time I've put in Freedom Unite even after all these years, I think it'll be justified though.

I enjoyed MHFU about as much as I've been enjoying MH4U, I really don't like some of the new mechanics, they force you to play a certain way in solo if you want to be efficient. Of course the hitboxes are worlds apart and there are some cool new weapons and weapon mechanics but the mounting kills the MH feel for me. It's a much better version of the game but it doesn't really work the same way as old monster hunter games at all. It feels like they tried to force the 3D gameplay into it (honestly I dislike some parts of it almost at much at the underwater fighting in MH3U but I guess this one is at least more interesting... excluding the fact that there HAS to be stuff to jump from, aka that must be climbed to get past, everywhere). I haven't really gotten around to playing in a group yet since I want to play through MH games solo because of the 0 scaling. Well, bashing aside it is a really great addition to the series and definitely worth a try, especially if you haven't played any MH after MHFU since most game mechanics are a lot smoother an it feels great to play.

I don't really think there are many good games at all for the 3DS. The only good ones I know of are TWEWY (DS game) and MH3U. There is at least one kingdom hearts for it but it sucks (at least in my opinion) and I can't remember if people have been praising or bashing Fire Emblem for 3DS. SSB exists and I've been a huge fan since SSBM and was really hyping it but after playing the demo I just didn't find it very interesting at all. On my Vita I have SSD = MHFU > Muramasa = Ys > Toukiden >>> Ragnarok = Gods eater (random personal preference inserted ), which I enjoyed all (gods eater and ragnarok not so much but they're decent) and Freedom Wars seems like a decent game too, there's just a much larger selection of nice games. And, I think the good VN and puzzle games and such, like Persona and Virtues Last Reward are on there, I don't play those types of games though.
