| If there is a multiverse, is there a limit to how many laws there are for each universe to contain or are new laws always being created....I wonder. Well, the exceptions in laws that we find and the places we find were the laws don't apply could all be apart of some other unknown theory we have not came across yet that explains it all...or maybe...the Universe simply isn't always perfect and we can only map how it works to a certain degree and the rest is always the 'magic' of the Universe. I think one of the most important scientific discoveries would being able to rule out outside interference i.e if there is anything outside our Universe, does it affect the inside. Of course, that cannot be answered and probably never will be. I don't know if there is enough time for mankind on Earth to even begin to scratch the real important stuff. Haha, I definitely agree with you there. I think we're to busy destroying each other and everything around to actually do something that could be amazing. I mean think of all the possibilities of what we could with knowing everything, but oh well. I suppose scrapping over religions and differences in people is more important, hah. | ||

| while what you say can be perceived to be correct, it is in fact false. We don't know really any rules (gravity, for example, is still just a theory). All we have is approximations; models that happen to work in most situations. the laws of physics are concrete, we just haven't discovered them yet. The laws we know are in fact true. You can duplicate it 99.9% of the time in the universe. The only problem is all of our laws break down before the big bang (because they obviously did not exist before that as far as we know) and in a singularity (black hole). There are exceptions to the laws behaviors but that does not keep the law from being true, it just makes the law bigger. I suppose that's one way to look at it. But if you look at theory's such as multiple universes, multiple dimensions, string theory and etc. You gonna run into a lot of exceptions and then there may be cases that these law's don't exist anymore. Leading on, as you pointed out about the big bang and black hole, there are cases that law's don't apply, but since we can only look at a tiny part of all existence, how many exceptions and how many times are there when the law's don't apply? But I do agree about law's being true, but it's so much fun to think that all our laws can be broken and sometime's not even exist. If there is a multiverse, is there a limit to how many laws there are for each universe to contain or are new laws always being created....I wonder.
