What people have to understand is that sweeping generalizations from either side are invalid. Just as not all religious people are bigoted and ignorant, not all atheists are douchebags and hypocrites. In fact, those people the astounding minority.

You continually make statements like "the hypocrisy in atheism", yet do you not realize the implications of that? You're making a generalization, and that just doesn't work.

Let me also remind you of what Atheism actually is. In the broadest sense, it's just disbelief in a god. Anything else is just baggage and can't be attributed the the term as a whole.

Lol although I tend to lean with the Republican party, I don't really have a particular party. I am by all means a conservative though. However, I find it important to analyze each issue with a very non-biased perspective. Just so happens that my conclusion regularly sides with a more conservative end.

Glad to see there are still people on Funnyjunk with some sense lol.

You should know that I am now in love with you. I just went through the comments of 'Youtube Comment' and it is the Americans like you, among others, who make me proud of our great country. Honestly, I see some of the 'America rules! Hurr durr!' posts and they make me cringe, even if I agree that America is awesome and a great country to live in despite it's faults. I just wanted to personally thank you for logically and rationally sticking up for all of us ^_^

Haha thank you. I actually feel that exact same way when I say those comments. It's best to show the world intelligence and articulation, as it's the only way to prove a good point.
