I've been getting a few randomly recently too. One minute I was just eating dinner with my sister, the next would be me sweating my ass off and running to the bathroom to calm myself down and contain my breath. Sometimes some bad realisation would hit me in the face too, killing my mood for the rest of the night. It bothers me so much.....

i would tickle your dick if that would make you calm down

I suffered with the same thing all through high school and still get them on random occasions. Don't let them put you on meds, try hypnotherapy. This is what I use: [url deleted] It's also comforting when you understand panic attacks. A good book is "Understanding it"

Nah, I'd rather just ride it out until it goes away. I don't like taking any kind of meds and I'm extremely paranoid so any hypno therapy or therapy at all is a no go for me."
I have done research on it since when I had my first one I had my parents take me to the hospital all that happened was I spent 10 hours there having one giant panic attack and at the end the doctors were like "Oh, well, I think you're just having a panic attack, so you're fine. Get out."

"Don't let them put you on meds"?
Really depends on what meds are being prescribed. I've been on sertraline a few months and it's helping tremendously. My anxiety episodes are rare now, I'm more stable and don't plummet into utter darkness all the time, I've more control over my life and generally feel more confident in how I deal with depression and anxiety - and more importantly how I'm to deal with it once I'm off the meds.

Honestly, I don't want to be put on medication. I don't like taking drugs if it's not utterly necessary.
Congratulations on how far you have come with it though. Knowing that other people are dealing with the same thing and beating it honestly makes me feel very happy.
The thing with my anxiety attacks is they're so random. Anything can set them off. The heat, eating too much, laughing too hard at a joke, having to go to the bathroom, waking up too quickly. It usually happens when I'm in a great mood and having fun and then out of nowhere it hits.
