N. Korean citizen (08/15/2012) [-] Who are you to decide what constitutes good music? You don't speak for the whole human race. Good music is subjective. If someone likes Blink-182, it's good music to them, whether or not you agree. So fuck off you elitist asshole.

faithrider (08/15/2012) [-] i mean honestly who could hate piano man? also big fan of TFK here. if you've heard of HeavFest in Denver, i got to get a picture with them. it was sweet plus they were the best concert i had ever been to. i even go their most recent album. it is really good. they have the youtube video "be somebody lyrics" officially up. that was one of my favorites. it is a tad slower than some of their more hardcore stuff but still worth a listen since it's got a story behind it. The End is Where We Begin just came out a couple of months ago. beginning of the summer. most of it isn't posted online yet (like pandora or spotify) but you can listen to a few on their youtube channel no problem. i loved it. and i forgot that they stream it on their website which works as well but you probably already knew that.... #23944

slandersalamander (08/15/2012) [-] It's just that you have the musical tastes of a twelve year old. Well, thank you for saying I seem alright. But in my own defense, I don't see how my choices are immature. The only one I will concede to is Skillet, because nowadays when I listen to them I hate how the John Cooper's voice sounds, but I like them anyway because they were the first band I ever really loved enough to call myself a "fan". But the rest don't strike me as childish. Could you explain how they are? Well RJA, sure. That makes sense. The band itself is composed of teens. But Hollywood Undead certainly isn't for children, and when I saw Skillet live it was mostly people my own age and older with just a few kids. Flyleaf I know is for young adults, because while the style is very contemporary their lyrics are deeper than what most kids could grasp. And I don't think TFK has an age-specific demographic. They strike me as the kind of band who are kids at heart but old enough to be taken seriously by an adult audience. #23951

bigdongdaddy (08/15/2012) [-] Hollywood Undead is awesome. And going to their concerts, its mainly filled with young adults. Felt awesome going to their shows I almost had a chance to see them live. They came to the city adjacent to mine, but I didn't find out until the last minute and couldn't request off from work in time. What I WAS able to do was meet them when they came to our local mall the day before. I got them to sign a generic Halloween mask I had bought on the way there. It was awesome.

| I just think that if you're going to spend your whole time screaming, it might be just as good if you sing instead. I listen to mostly all of their songs. some songs are a bit ehh with me, but thats only lyric wise. I like them for a number of reasons. Their beats are pretty sick, and I like any song that will make me automatically start bopping my head. Secondly, I feel like each member of the band puts their own personality into their part of each song: Charlie is the party guy, J-Dog is the gangster, 3 Tears is the wise older one who's been around the block, Funny Man is the ladiesman, Kurlzz is the hyperactive kid who's just trying to keep up with the rest of the band, and Deuce is the crazy one who just likes to exert energy. And I think that'll probably end up being what Danny becomes since he replaced Deuce. Thirdly, I like them for the diversity of their lyrics. Some of their songs are upbeat party songs you can dance to, some are deep yet heavy songs that make you think, and some are soft, easy songs that help you sit back and relax. Some of my favorites, Hear Me Now, My Town, Circles, My Black Dahlia, City, This Love This Hate, and so many more they are indeed great songs. and I have American Tragedy downloaded onto my PS3 so i can listen to it whenever i want :D and input the songs into whatever game i want. Shit dude that's epic. I have the CD, and the way I got it is a fond memory. I was at the mall with my friend, and we were walking past the FYE store. She said something along the lines of "Isn't that the band you like?" And pointed. I looked through the glass wall of the store and see a sign advertising Hollywood Undead's new album American Tragedy, and upon further inspection I learned that the band itself was going to be appearing at this very store the next day to do a signing. This was huge. So I went home and told my little brother about it (he likes them too) and the next day we woke up early, went to a party store and got generic human-face Halloween masks, and went to the mall. We stood in line for 4 hours, among countless other people with masks, CDs, and autograph books. Then someone doing security said something like "Only the people who buy the new CD will be allowed to actually meet the band." So I rushed to buy two copies, one for me and one for my brother, while he saved my place in line. Then we got to meet them, and it was awesome. They signed our CDs and our masks, and now I have a silver mask with all their autographs on it. holy shit dude. I would looove to be able to meet them! I'm so jealous of you right now lol. I don't know if I'll ever be able to meet them though, I live on the east coast. :( | ||

| I should have expanded. I can't stand it when it's every word in the song. I have enjoyed a few songs where it just pops in here and there without being too overused and kills the song entirely. Oh okay. Yeah I have trouble sitting through a full song of unmelodic screaming. I just think that if you're going to spend your whole time screaming, it might be just as good if you sing instead.
