I never really had a problem with the original ending. But I did like that extended cut.
It was nice to see the Krogan rebuilding their civilization, the quarions back on Rannoch, and your crew surviving.
Only problem I had was the fact that if they ever do another trilogy in mass effect, it'll either have to be a prequel or they'll have to chose one ending to be canon which would kinda suck.
and I actually liked TIM in me2 before he went batshit insane
