Didn't Kubo want to end it after the shit with Aizen was done? But he couldn't?

I don't know, I remember hearing that somewhere before.

I think you're wrong. Bernie and Hillary both cultivated the most toxic people I've ever seen. Their supporters' bully tactics would have led to the same conclusion, complete loss for their party.

Don't fucking delude yourself.

Bernie talked only about changing the laws and the system without mentioning who are the bad guys. Trump went at it right away with mentioning the bad guy that control the system with intent of takiing them down, not only changing the laws.

Plus Trump has much, MUCH less chance of being controlled by the system. We saw what happened to Bernie.

Bernie might've won,, because of blind people, but that wouldnt make the him any better in reality.
#148 - anon (11/10/2016) [-]
He named them, it's the rich. Trump right away says he will make them (him included) even richer by lowering the taxes.

Yeah towing the party line and shilling for someone you supposedly oppose sure is having integrity. Wonder how big his new house is, via the DNC

Thanks to Democrats for rigging the polling stations to have more stations in Hillary supporting areas and less in Bernie supporting areas. I hope he runs again.
#54 - douthit (11/10/2016) [-]
Disagree. Plenty of first-time voters and long inactive voters came out to support Trump. Also, whites of nearly every sub-demographic voted for him. And the huge enthusiasm levels of his supporters, as seen in part at his rallies, shows that he wasn't just a less bad choice than Hillary. He was also an anti-establishment, anti-war, and change candidate. You're deluding yourself if you think people just voted for him to merely beat Hillary.
User avatar
#98 - Ruspanic (11/10/2016) [-]
yes, the majority of Trump voters voted for him to defeat Hillary, not because they love Trump so much.
Other than being a "fuck you" to the establishment, Trump had very little going for him as a Presidential candidate.
User avatar
#109 - blackmageewizardt (11/10/2016) [-]
not just that, but Bernie was also for the " fuck you " part of the establishment. The spectrum could have split there 50/50
User avatar
#93 - spamalope (11/10/2016) [-]
You're deluding yourself if you think majority of his support were people that actually liked him, majority of the U.S. hated both of them.
#44 - thepizzadevourer (11/10/2016) [-]
So you really think all those counties that went red for Trump (filled with blue collar, white working class workers mind you) that won him the election would have gone communist red for Bernie? Besides, need I remind you how this champion of democratic socialism owns three houses, one of them a vacation home worth over half a million dollars?

He's not virtuous, and I doubt he would have won even if he was.
#142 - anon (11/10/2016) [-]
Hmm, would the working class vote for a socialist?. Hmmmmmm. I guess we'll never know.
User avatar
#96 - Ruspanic (11/10/2016) [-]
A fair number of the counties and states that went for Trump this time went for Obama in previous elections, and Trump isn't really much of a conservative.
Sanders is not a Communist and despite his stupid decision of calling himself a "socialist", I think Trump's victory proves that most voters don't care that much about ideology and principles, they just want someone who they think will fight for them. Sanders has always had a much higher favorability rating than Trump (and Hillary).
User avatar
#49 - lolollo (11/10/2016) [-]
Yes. I know you lot do the want to acknowledge it, but an extremely hefty amount of Trump supporters were Bernie supporters voting Republican put of spite.

You forget that there's not an overpopulation of rednecks compared to white bread ass urban people. It's pretty fucking equal.
#124 - anon (11/10/2016) [-]
nah they didnt vote. very low turnout this year actually.

#55 - thepizzadevourer (11/10/2016) [-]
Do you have any hard numbers to prove that Trump was carried by Bern victims? Or is that just speculation?
User avatar
#143 - cptsweatpants (11/10/2016) [-]
Hillary lost by about 133 000 votes, because of the key states like Pen or Ohio. I'd say that's a likely number to make up the pissed off Bernie supporters and usual democrat voters who rather threw it to 3rd parties like Johnson and Stein then to a shady bitch like her.
User avatar
#56 - lolollo (11/10/2016) [-]
It's as much speculation as your bit is. I can just tell you from my own experience that were I to have given in to the two party system this election season, I legitimately would have gone in Trump's direction. For all of the shitting I did on him, the one thing I never argued against was the point that he was better than Hillary.
User avatar
#57 - thepizzadevourer (11/10/2016) [-]
Mine's not entirely speculation though. Those counties did go red, and there's no proof to show they would have voted otherwise were Bernie on the ballot. And you still haven't addressed how he's supposedly an aboveboard democratic socialist while owning a 500 thousand dollar vacation home.
User avatar
#59 - lolollo (11/10/2016) [-]
Do you have oodles and oodles of data from those people saying that they would never have voted for Bernie even if he were the major DNC candidate? Then it's speculation. That's what makes it speculation. I'm not even taking the argument that mine isn't speculation here guy, meet me halfway.

It's not even that. Had Trump been against anyone but Clinton it would have been a cake walk for them to dominate him due to all the shit he's said Seriously, he's said some stupid shit in this election . If Clinton had been against anyone but Trump they would have fucking schooled her shit because nine times out of ten if she had the hint of a scandal coming Trump would say something dumb the media could use to shift focus to him Like advising Russia should hack her emails

He only proposed tax raises on the rich.
User avatar
#94 - Ruspanic (11/10/2016) [-]
In practice that's not true. He would have had to raise taxes on nearly everybody to pay for his proposals.
#147 - anon (11/10/2016) [-]
"i want to raise taxes on the rich"
"no, on everyone"
"i said the rich"
"no, you said everyone"

Rich would pay more taxes, and you play identity politics (because you're not rich) to help them. Whatever the expenses people would say the policies would bring, it's bullshit to make it seem impossible, because you don't want it.

taxfoundation.org/article/details-and-analysis-senator-bernie-sanders-s-tax-plan
His plan was certainly focused on raising taxes for the rich (and marketed this way), but that doesn't mean non-wealthy people would experience no tax hikes.

Sander's plan "Creates a new 2.2 percent 'income-based [health care] premium paid by households.' This is equivalent to increasing all tax bracket rates by 2.2 percentage points, and would raise the top marginal income tax rate to 54.2 percent."

Retard.
#27 - lean (11/09/2016) [-]
Fuckbag.

2.2% "medicare for all"
6.2% payroll tax
.5% market investment tax
45% minimum death tax after 10% estate penalty

Even the lefty economists said Bernie is nuts. "puppies and rainbows" was the term.
The people would pay more, the government would net less, and GDP would plummet.
#146 - anon (11/10/2016) [-]
"increasing taxes is bad for the economy"
"lefty economists"

Yeah right. It's mantra of libertarians, that take that "saved" because of low taxes money and send it abroad, so economy gets nothing.

I find it sad and I'm not even American. Instead of actual debates with reasons to vote, we've only heard middle school level insults of who is supposedly worse.

What does it say about either candidate and the people when the general consensus is that theyre both horrible choices. Not sure if it's more funny or sad that there's this dichotomy in the two party system so that no one will consider third party even when the first parties are fucking up this badly.

I think that if anyone but hillary won the democratic side then they'd easily win in a landslide without all this close tied hassle, and if anyone but trump won the Republican side same thing.
