Hey, I wasn't complaining.

And your opinions are questionable. That's why they're being questioned.

And if you weren't salty, you were doing a very poor job of communicating that. In particular, the comment about jimmies and the continuous condescension Rich, given that your opinion is completely baseless. are a bit of a tip off.

I wasn't trying communicate being salty or not. Still your own interpretation.
Yeah, my first comment was about jimmies rustled. You seem stuck on that.
If you feel like I'm being condescending, maybe you should call someone that makes you feel better?

Sure, it's an assumption in the same way that if this was a documentary in the south pole, it'd be an assumption to say they couldn't go to a nearby McDonalds for food. Which is to say, it's not an assumption. It's a presumption, because there's evidence and reasoning behind it. Saying that they should have saved him however, is assuming they're able to. Which is silly, for the various reasons outlined repeatedly above.

But sure, you can have your opinions. It doesn't make them less wrong that they're opinions.

Throughout this entire discussion I have stated that if they COULD have done something, they SHOULD have done something. However that must have been hard for your three and a half brain-cells to comprehend, no?
Oh, and that comment about McDonalds, that was hilarious, truly. I'd judge from your fascination of even bringing it up that you live on it.
Only a really huge creature as yourself would take the time to sit here and argue for having all hope lost after taking one step outside your own front door.

Yeah, I'm responding to the same point. Because again, they're in the wild, filming animals in their natural habitat. Without human interference. They are, at the very least, days away from civilization. Because that's the whole damned point.

They have cameras, food and fuel. They have no sources nearby, because there are no sources nearby. They don't know anyone nearby, because there is no one nearby. They are far away, and even if they had reception no one would get there in time Except maybe by helicopter. This is the situation of a wildlife documentary, every time, by design.

Still, not a fact. You have no way of actually knowing this, it is still an ASSUMPTION.
You can call that an educated guess, being realistic, whatever you wish.
Yet you can't prove it unless you put your energy into it and I doubt you will.
You'd rather slander on my idea of the situation just to try and confirm your own.
That everyone should stop caring and stop questioning it. There's no way but your way?
I'll stick to my opinions and you can stick to yours. There is really no reason to take this any further since it doesn't evolve beyond this point.

The circumstances are that they are in the wild, prepared to film animals. To say that it is even possible for them to help is a stretch, to suggest that they're assholes for not helping makes you a dick, and repeatedly ignoring what's being said makes you obnoxious.
#115 - jeej (02/21/2016) [-]
I'm not ignoring anything. And once again, you are being repetitive.
I was making an "educated guess" on how you work as a person.
The circumstances is what they had, what sources they knew, what equipment they brought, if they knew any people nearby, how far away they were, if they had reception, if they could have done something etc.
Sure, your opinion of me can be "being a dick". No problem.
