haha this season has to be one of the best yet
but you did right to ignore its existence for the past few years
it got really boring but its back now
british grand prix is tomorrow and should be good cos the weather here in england is actually terrible this weekend :)

that would be the case a couple of years ago, but refuelling has been banned in F1 so they last around 300km on a single tank which is not far off what a le mans prototype car can manage
but prototype cars in le mans are more of a showcase of the manufacturers efficiency and technology which will eventually be used on their road cars
so it is pretty much the difference :P

they do have the same principle of shit loads of downforce and all acceleration but other than that they have to fit to very different regulations and the differences you don't see are massive

Exactly... What really makes the difference is that they are build for two different things. (as far as I know) then in most cases you will find that formular 1 cars are faster than Le Mans cars, they are however not anywhere near as durable and fuel efficient as the Le Mans cars.
