He stated it as a fact and backed it up by saying maybe he's the only one who's noticed. That's not an opinion, and if he meant it as one he should have watched his wording.

I don't think he meant to imply "Katy Perry is a man" or something with truth-value like that (If he did then apologies, but implications such as this seems ridiculous). I think he meant to imply "Katy Perry has bone structure that looks like a man, and so she looks like a man." See how his words are stated as though they're undeniably true? That's just a way to make opinion come off as though the beliefs are fact. It's like saying "Shakespeare tries to mock indecisiveness with the use of Hamlet," when in reality that might not be true, and is just what one person may believe.
