It's not really bragging! It's just talking about the skills you've learned. I just regret not learning piano when I was little, simply because music is now such a huge part of my life, it's hard not knowing as much as people who actually grew up with it. Really, knowing how to play any instrument is freaking awesome. It's a really cool skill to have.

People always feel like voice isn't a strong point for them, it's just one of those things. People tend to not like their voice much, and it take getting used to. I'm currently learning piano now, since I have to have a year of it under my belt to graduate the Musical Theatre BFA, but piano is fucking hard.
I was actually going to ask if I could friend you, but you beat me to the punch.

It's just weird because you hear your voice so much differently than other people do, but honestly I'm just more into playing instruments. Like I taught myself how to play a little piano as a kid. There wasn't really much to do at my grandma's over the summer haha..

Don't be sorry! I'M sorry I'm giving you MY whole life story! Unfortunately, I'm not a dancer in the slightest. I can move enough when I need to, but I'm more of a singer/actor. But yes, I completely agree about finding the imperfections that make it perfect.

I'd definitely do plays more if there were more opportunities around here, but that's small towns for you. I've been told I have a pretty voice, but I just don't really think it's my strong point. I really can't wait to start getting better at violin though, I've wanted to play ever since I was little, but my parents had too many kids so they couldn't really afford it
This is definitely one of the first songs I wanna learn how to play, it's sooo pretty www.youtube.com/watch?v=72AC9iJreQ8

Hahaha I'm a high baritone, and have always had a love for theatre.

Yeah, I know what you meant! I'm still hopeful, and won't give up that easily. I've never really strived for perfection in a relationship, because perfection in general is not an achievable goal. I've always strived for perfect imperfection, meaning all the imperfections somehow make it seem perfect, because they are faults that go well together. I'm not religious in anyway, but I believe in being a good person. So I try my best to be the best person I can be, because I think that is how people should be treated.

Also, you're very pretty. I actually saw your photo somewhere in this sticky when I was going through some of the comments.
#1539 - jaymeelu (02/13/2015) [-]
I've done plays ever since I was a little kid, but then I started getting more into ballet. Recently with work and everything my schedules a little too hectic to really focus on it as much as I used to, but I still incorporate the stretches when I do yoga/work out just because they feel really good aaand I finally earned enough to buy a violin like I've always wanted. So yay
Sorry I just gave you like my whole life story haha
Back to the point though, perfect is boring and unachievable to begin with. It really is the imperfections that make it perfect, like knowing that you have faults and they have faults, but being willing to look past it because you just genuinely enjoy this person as a human being. Now me on the other hand am pretty religious, not the kind that's gonna go shoving it down you're throat by any means, but the way I was raised I have a lot of compassion for people. Whether they really deserve it or not.
Awh thanks, I didn't wanna just assume you had

Thank you Yes, I do wax them, so don't worry (I'm a Musical Theatre Major, so I have to look like my headshots for auditions). It is a part of society for guys be proud of having a lot of sex, and while I don't regret it with relationships (because those girls meant a lot to me, and I don't normally let people get very close to me) I do regret one-night stand type things, or being blown off after something like that. Because it's one of those "it meant something to me, but it feels like it didn't mean anything to you" type feelings. Again, I've always been a relationship person. I like getting to know a girl, and them getting to know me, to a point where we are so close that we know each others weaknesses and strengths, and we just know each other so well, we can predict each other and work off each other. A point where the weaknesses don't matter, the past mistakes we don't care about, and we don't have to go out to some fancy dinner or some expensive thing, we can simply enjoy the comfort of each others company. We can go anywhere and do anything, and as long as we are together, that is enough to make us happy. But that's just me being a sappy romantic, which I know I am at heart and fully embrace. College girls just aren't interested in that. They want to have fun in their college years, before they even think about something serious, or "further down the road" so to speak.

But hey, who knows if romance even works that way. That's just how I imagine it.
Here's a sad/cute pug.

I fucking love everything theatrical so you're just making yourself cooler and cooler to me.
I didn't mean like every time sucked for you. I get that and it'd make anyone feel shitty to be used. I mean, I'm still a virgin so I've never really had to deal with the whole "they didn't feel the same way about the sex as I did" thing, but I understand feeling rejected. It makes me happy that you're still wanting that kind of relationship though and those same chicks are going to be complaining later about how they can't find a guy like you. Nowadays I feel like people give up way too easily or just aren't willing to put in any real effort. They just expect a perfect relationship to fall into their laps and even if it did happen that easily it's almost encouraged for people to treat each other like shit and cheat because it'll make them look cool. It's so incredibly stupid.

And well here's my face.. Gib nice eyebrows pls.

You aren't sounding pretentious! But I can definitely understand the Attractive guy = big asshole equation. It makes a lot of sense and has very consistent results with what I have observed. Though, I'm not sure if I quite qualify as attractive, but if that is your way of saying you think I'm attractive looking, then thank you! And I hope I don't come off sounding super egotistical talking about "all the women I've banged" cause that's not my intention at all.
I have Autism and ADD, so it's pretty much a double whammy on my social life.

User avatar #1507 - skorpius (02/13/2015) [-]

User avatar #1567 - skorpius (02/13/2015) [-]
Don't be sorry! I'M sorry I'm giving you MY whole life story! Unfortunately, I'm not a dancer in the slightest. I can move enough when I need to, but I'm more of a singer/actor. But yes, I completely agree about finding the imperfections that make it perfect.

No problem! And that pig is adorable.
#1574 - jaymeelu (02/13/2015) [-]
I don't mind at all, I'm actually really enjoying this conversation.

#1989 - jaymeelu (02/14/2015) [-]
It's just weird because you hear your voice so much differently than other people do, but honestly I'm just more into playing instruments. Like I taught myself how to play a little piano as a kid. There wasn't really much to do at my grandma's over the summer haha..
I feel like I'm bragging like "look at all the stuff I can do," but I just grew up in a family of many trades
And well, I like talking to you so we needed to be friends
User avatar #2024 - skorpius (02/15/2015) [-]
It's not really bragging! It's just talking about the skills you've learned. I just regret not learning piano when I was little, simply because music is now such a huge part of my life, it's hard not knowing as much as people who actually grew up with it. Really, knowing how to play any instrument is freaking awesome. It's a really cool skill to have.

Thank you, that tension nearly killed me.

I know your right, but I have always enjoyed relationships in general. I don't do them cause I feel obligated. I would say I'm not sure if it's the way I treat the girls, but I would bet my chips on saying it's the type of girls I go after. I have noticed many similarities between the girls I've seen. Though, the last girl actually texted me the other night apologizing because she felt like she had lead me on and that wasn't what she meant to do. I told her it was ok, and she kinda still felt bad because she said she thought I was a really nice guy (thats why I'm pretty sure it's not how I treat girls, but then again, I'm actually autistic [it's hardly noticeable because I've taught myself how to not act that way] so that shit doesn't make sense to me).

Sorry, these are getting long. It's 5:30 in the morning here, and night time is when my mind runs rampant.
#1343 - jaymeelu (02/13/2015) [-]
I love deep late night talks. Also it's 6:30am here.. so I probably think I'm giving good advice, but when I read this tomorrow I'll be like "holy shit I'm pretentious"
Girl world perspective though: really attractive guy usually = big asshole. When guys reach a certain level of hotness they're either oblivious towards that fact or get very conceited. Girls usually just kind of assume that the more attractive you are the less likely you'd want to be in a relationship because you could just bone whoever you want.. because that's all that guys want, right? *sarcasm*
Side note; my little brothers autistic and I can honestly say they're my favorite kind of people. I've yet to meet someone with it who wasn't a total sweetheart
Other side note; that is the cutest damn gif I've ever seen
#1356 - skorpius (02/13/2015) [-]
You aren't sounding pretentious! But I can definitely understand the Attractive guy = big asshole equation. It makes a lot of sense and has very consistent results with what I have observed. Though, I'm not sure if I quite qualify as attractive, but if that is your way of saying you think I'm attractive looking, then thank you! And I hope I don't come off sounding super egotistical talking about "all the women I've banged" cause that's not my intention at all.
I have Autism and ADD, so it's pretty much a double whammy on my social life.
I'm not sure if I have any adorable gifs like that one, but I'll look around
User avatar #1376 - jaymeelu (02/13/2015) [-]
Yea, you have a pretty nice face Just curious, do you wax your eyebrows or are they just naturally like that? If so fuck you they're perfect lol
It actually makes me feel pretty bad, because as a guy people sort of expect you to be all proud of having alot of sex, but you seem like you regret it more than like you're bragging.
#1395 - skorpius (02/13/2015) [-]
