Twin-Beam Laser Rifle + Automatic Barrel + Psycho Jet = 75 damage per shot x 2 = 5400 damage in less than 15 slow-mo seconds

Spray n Pray is also OP as hell if you have the third Commando perk or higher, even on Survival

Just go with it, the game is quick, in the first 1 hour you get a minigun, a powerarmor and become a leader of a faction.

Like the Deliverer or that shotgun with a French name are unique. And a wrench called "Big Jim" would be unique, because a legendary won't have a name like that, far as I know.

Thanks for the defend, but actually, you can rename them all. I was apparently experiencing a bug in game. ( I tested it before replying the first time.) After getting his response with proof, I restarted game and was able to edit unique/legendary weapons and armor.

My Super Sledge does 192 base, + 50 electric, my strength is 10 so my melee multiplier is at 2x melee damage, +bufftats for +3 endurance and strength for 8 minutes, thats 2.3, then psycout for +3 strength and endurance for 8 minutes also, as well as +25% damage, so thats 2.6x + 25%, and my perk gives me +50% melee damage standing still, so thats 2.6x damage on my melee weapon, so i get 175% of my melee damage for standing still, so thats 341 physical, 87 electric, now multiply that by 2.6, and thats 886 physical, 226 electric, now combine that with a power attack and a hit to the head. I nearly 1 shot an alpha deathclaw on Very Hard
TL;DR My Super Sledge does 886 physical, 226 electric per normal swing, and does even more on a power attack, i nearly 1 shot an Alpha Deathclaw on Very Hard

Me either, but when you do, prepare your diddly-hole and put on your highest grade Power Armor, those things are tough as fuck.

Deathclaws never hit me, i just kite around them, use jet, and whenever i see them prepare a swing interrupt it with vats.

That never works for me, I always end up getting come on and slammed by Deathclaws.

Its kind of hard to do and it doesnt always work out, but the jet is they key part of doing it, i almost never use my chems except on boss monsters and deathclaws.

I use chems randomly and sparsely, sometimes I'll use it because a Sentry Bot is trying to gently persuade me to become the new carpet, or sometimes I'll use it because a random Mole Rat is nibbling on the toes of my power armor and scratching the paint job.

And when I mean Chems, I almost mainly use Jet, and I use other chems accidentally, forgetting their chems and not healing items.

Get psychout (or as the game calls it psychobuff which is a way worse name) its a fucking god send for anything you do.
+25% damage dealt
+3 Endurance
+3 Strength
+65 Max HP for 8 minutes

Yeah, but Psycho + Buffout can also be called Psychout, which sounds alot smoother, and not as forced as just putting the starting letters of each word togeather.

Get X-Cell, my nigga.

+2 for every S.P.E.C.I.A.L. for a short amount of time.

Yeah X-Cell is good and ill use it whenever i get into a huge jam, but Psychout lasts 8 minutes, so you only have to pop 1 per fight, it also stacks with Bufftats that also last 8 minutes.

I got a shotty called the "Le Munitione Terribles" Thats what it was called when I found it , does +25% damage, 50% chance of knockdown and increased recoil.
Blows most stuff to shit in one hit, usually puts anything that lives flat on it's ass, only tradeoff is even with all the upgrades, it has absurd recoil.

Also found a battle rifle called overseer's guardian, fires 2 shots for 1, fully upgrades can easily headshot a deathclaw in one hit.
Suffice to say if I could think of something good to name it i'd probably rename it

I have a combat shotgun were every shell has a 20% chance to cripple both legs. Whenever a deathclaw charges me it gets crippled and just lays on the ground helpless. I named it "The Shit Sandwhich"

My names are pretty boring in comparison. I have a Combat Shotgun named Gladius, a Combat Rifle named Sarissa, a Hunting Rifle named Natural Causes, and then a Gauss rifle named Sleeper Simulant.

MY first Gauss Rifle was a Legendary that did 50% extra damage to humans. Felt only fitting to name it the "Genocidal Gauss Rifle"

I don't have humorous names for my guns, I just try and go with stuff that sounds cool.

i don't have as many weapons as you to carry all the names since i really only switch between what i use commonly. and i only name legendaries. my 10mm has the 25% less AP so i can fire a lot and switch to my .44 to refill my AP bar when i use it for crits.

I won't lie i wasn't that big on fallout before this. I loved Elder Scrolls and played it methodically but rushed through 3 too quickly. a modern RPG didn't make sense to me when i was younger but doing this now i look back and think how stupid i was. I'd love to go back and give 3 and NV a real try.

I recommend Fallout New Vegas lightyears above Fallout 3.

NV has a better atmosphere, better DJ than 3 and 4, cooler setting(big fan of the desert setting), takes a different approach in the beginning, instead of being from a Vault, you're a Mojave Express courier, who gets fucked up by some post-apocalypse mob toughs because of a chip you got, they shoot you in the head, but you're like, "No, motherfucker.", you kick Death in the dick, climb back from the abyss in order to take revenge on the man that shot you and get the package back.

Now there's a delivery service you can count on.

Don't forget better writing and RPG elements.
