(i only heard this through my mum who ate dinner with him once) but hes the only one allowed to portray the character, even any cartoons hes the only one allowed to voice it. some contract dealio, I see, well in that case I'm guessing he does lose the rights when he dies.  From they die and around 60-80 years in the future unless a family member is legally given the patent. Some bloke owns the copyright to all of Mozarts pieces. | ||
