The Canadians had help from the Americans, Brits and Poles in freeing Holland. The US took Italy, most of France, Belgium and Luxembourg, plus we helped free Austria and Hungary also.

I wouldn't say no one else could take the Ridge. But that's not the point. I mean there are many, many, many significant American victories in many wars that we fought but that doesn't mean that they would have won the war. For instance the Battle of Saratoga wouldn't have ended the war, but the American victory devastated the British and turned the tide of the war, especially since it showed France the Americans had a chance of winning. I mean what is considered to be the greatest naval battle ever fought was the Battle of Midway that completely changed the tide of the war in the Pacific.

Is what the Canadians did commendable? Of course it is. But we're they the ones that completely turned the tide of the war? Not really. The Ridge was a great victory and you should be proud of it, but ultimately the war came to an end because the German people were starving. Like I said before there were no battles fought on German soil in WWI.

Again one battle against the world's largest military powers

One battle, about taking a ridge no one else could, they where sent in as a form of not letting the germans advance, and then they took the ridge. Something no one else could. They also single handedly liberated Holland. Allowing the allies to advance into the Rhineland. They also fought at Ypres, Somme, Passchendaele, and Cambrai. There are several battles, some just aren't as prominent, thus I didn't mention them.

I said you didn't make as big of an impact on the War as the larger forces, i.e. England, France, Germany, Russia, Austria and the Ottoman Empire. Well so much for actually SUPPORTING Canadians.
