Should we leave Family Guy on Family Guy related content?

To be fair, Family Guy doesn't cause arguments simply by popping up. There is a reason bronies have their own place on FJ. It's to prevent arguments like this one. If you want to post something that will most likely annoy someone else, avoid the trouble and keep it in its designated area, just like smoking and non-smoking sections of restaurants.

While I understand that, I still think it is very shallow and hypocritical of people to hate on someone simply for using a pony related picture.

The way I see it...as long as they aren't posting it to spam, and the reaction/picture is relevant to the content, there's nothing wrong with using the picture. There's just way too much unnecessary tension over this subject and it's quite annoying.

What's hypocritical about it. "It's hypocritical of people to hate on someone for using a pony related picture." No it isn't. Hypocrisy is saying something is bad and then doing the very same yourself. Your statement would only make sense if they then went on to use pony related pictures. Shallow yes, hypocritical no.

Im not really a "pony hater" but I also find ponies rather annoying. I don't take the time to criticize bronies because I find it immature, but it does get really aggravating when bronies dont shut up. Also, he was being shallow but he never did anything hypocritical.

I meant that criticizing is immature, not that the cartoons are immature. Although I firmly believe that it's childish to watch a show meant for little girls. If I started posting teletubbies references everywhere I would be criticized and shunned. That's how haters feel about ponies.
