I think Glowing ones can revive fallen ghouls. Not sure if its ones you've killed, or just already dead ones in the area.

I'm just now level 20, and I've found some swagger stuff. Don't underestimate pipe-pistols. I've been rocking two heavily modded ones, a standard, and a revolver, for a while, just now swapped em out for actual rifles.

There is a legendary/unique gun, called the Neverending Incendiary something something Laser Rifle. Infinite mag capacity. It's a bastardly vicious motherfucker I got a while back.

The combat rifle is where it's at man I have it modded to do 51 damage and it can still go higher plus the .45 ammo is pretty common

"a basterdly viscious motherfucker" I like the sound of that haha do you know where you found it?

I want to say near the water treatment plant west of Diamond City, but I'm not 100%

I got it from a Legendary something, though. Wasn't a hard fight, on normal, mind you. But the base mods that it comes with leave it pretty well off, with plenty of growing potential. Only negative thing about it, is that it has no reload, so you have to be careful how you spam, or you'll chew through ammo fast.

I've noticed that. Most of the time, though, they're either sitting, or sprinting at me in hordes of like five at a time, so I'll get one in the legs, and the other four will hug me.

Yeah they really suck until you can get to a higher level I'm currently level 30 with a combat rifle that is the best gun I've found so far.

Even still though I got to an area where I just kept dying because there were 5 ghouls including a legendary Glowing One which kept kicking the shit out of me. What I had to do was lay a bunch of mines and lead him into it to kill him.
Also I can't believe fucking Bethesda managed to somehow make ghouls even scarier than in the last game.

Eh? Lots of things. I don't know all the details, but...

Lucas used to not reflect with his side smash, but they changed that I think. Lucas' Up Smash is way stronger but hits a smaller area than Ness'. Lucas's down smash only affects one direction but does more damage and knock back.

Lucas's recovery, PK Thunder, goes through people and does rapid hits if he hits someone with his body during it. Ness's dispells if it hits someone and does more impact than damage if he hits with himself. PK blast and PK freeze are obviously different... Lucas's Down special puts a shield in front of him, not around him. PK Fire should already be obvious on what the difference is between the two.

Not sure what else to say. Ness is, in my opinion, weaker overall compared to Lucas, but Lucas has more openings. Most of his attack have a short 'rest' time that fast characters can take advantage of, like Cpt. Falcon. Ness also has an semi-infinite combo with his air attack, but that's another story.

Sorry I couldn't go into more detail.

Lucas I agree with. He was in Brawl and should have been pushed inside for free. Why he wasn't is beyond me, but I think they decided to make him cost something in order to make him not a unique DLC character, y'know?

Mewtwo and Roy, however, were from Melee and that was two games ago. Two games is too long and not to mention they're completely different from how they used to be.... Well, Roy is at least. Mewtwo is just slightly different.

So I think recreating them took way more resources than Lucas did, since they had less to go on, so I'm okay with them having been DLC characters. Especially since both of them were really raved about in Brawl for not being in the game.

So yeah, while I do think and agree that some of the characters should have probably been free, it's likely that Nintendo don't want people to go "Well, that one was free! Why not ____?"

I haven't played a whole lot of Brawl, I had melee as a kid and just recently got a Wii U with smash 4 so I kinda skipped Brawl.

But what's the difference between Ness and Lucas anyway?

The reason behind this is something I think some people are glossing over.

Super Smash Brothers for Wii U and 3Ds could be the very last installment in the series. That's why they keep throwing DLC at it with stages and what not. Because they're putting a full game's effort into creating new stages and characters for the game. If they just gave them all for free, and eventually didn't match up with the price of a full game, then they'd be hurting themselves for all the wasted effort.

It's fairly likely that this Smash Brothers will be ported to any new system they make, if they ever do make something after the Wii U. Which they will, eventually, but the new system may not be suited for something like Super Smash. The oculus Rift, or whatever it's called, has been getting popular after all and Nintendo might try their own hand at it. They did make the power glove back in the day, and boy was it bad.

But basically what I'm saying is... Yeah, of course they're DLC characters. This could be the last game, and they want some cash for their efforts.

I can understand that and think that's reasonable but that doesn't hold true with the other DLC characters which are Lucas, Mewtwo, and Roy which have been in Super Smash Melee and Brawl already and they took them out, then turned around and try to sell them to you

If I had the Wii U, I'd drop 5 bucks a character no problem. I think a few bucks is reasonable given how long and how hard it is to make a solid fighting game and characters.

still thats alot for a character and a stage

Nintendo are just doing it to drain your pockets as much as they can

characters in fighting games among other stupid types of DLC should not be paid for content, period

If it encourages them support the game in the long run, I really don't mind. I just don't buy the characters I have no interest in.
