Nor was he supposed to die in the prison. Dale got bitten, hid his bite from Andrea, then was abducted by Chris (cannibal) and eaten by a group of cannibals. Then all of the cannibals died because they ate Dale while he was infected.

The cannibal part was so goddamn amazing. The fact that it probably won't be in the show pisses me off.
