According to Stephen King, IT is related to Dandelo, a being of similar capacities from the Dark Tower series. If you've read IT, the popular theory is
since at the end of the novel It, it is revealed that It laid eggs in its home under Derry. Because Derry itself acts like one of the portals to The Dark Tower, it is certainly possible that one of the eggs hatched and the creature found its way to Empathica, which is in very close proximity to the Tower itself, thus meaning that Dandelo is Pennywise's offspring.
If that's the case, IT is a being that originated in the Todash Space, which is called the Prim, or Primordial Chaos, a place of darkness and disorder.
(Todash meaning "the state of being in between/outside of universes")

- I kind of agree with you and the people saying that if you can…
I want to play a game where you can fight back, but it's useless. Like shooting pyramid head early in silent hill 2.
You can fight back
IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE
Outlast, where a video camera is more important to keep hold of than a blunt object to save your own life with.
I think a good compromise is a horror game that gives you weapons, but they don't do shit against the actual horror beast. Unless you figure out its weakness.
Alien Isolation was good for this.
Weapons could work against the Androids, but the only way to fight the Alien was with the flamethrower, and that only scared it off temporarily.
I’ve preferred game where weapons are scarce but can slow the monster down
Better hope it's weak to bullets
Condemned had the right idea for the combat just random pipes and boards as weapons with few guns and very limited ammo
That game was 90% cobat after a certain point though.
Also the tazwr definitely helped.
might be thinking of the second game that one definitely had more fighting then the first. But then again I do need to replay the first
i personally thought the first was complete crap. the combat was just horrible and the storyline was desperately trying to make no sense. the second had some of my favorite combat ever, the story still sucked, but it was a scary good time
Horror games with character stress and panic are annoying.
Not only do you have to deal with YOUR stress and panic. But you have to deal with your character's on top of that.
Now I can understand that with people that seem to never be afraid, gives them the handicap required, but it needlessly punishes people who do get afraid.
You ever played Sanity's Requim?
I hope I'm getting that right
You suffer sanity penalties from staring at and fighting monsters as well as events. Become too insane and you get "sanity effects" such as statues or paintings following you as you walk by, your inventory being re arranged, enemies appearing and disappearing (hallucinations) and spoiler ones of
your head falling off, which you can then pick up as an item, sound and visual "glitches", and the game crashing and deleting your save
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem Great game, unfortunatly it was a gamecube exclusive.
Also you exploding when casting a spell, your controller being unplugged as enemies kill you, and completing the "demo"
i thought the gameplay itself was super bland, but the sanity meter was fantastic
Each character had their own low sanity events, some of them actually having to play into the character's own fears such as claustrophobia.
suddenly your huge in a tiny room or the ceiling starts moving
Very good game, gave me nightmares for years.
those sound terrible, I love it
