I illustrated a comic for a friend once.
It took forever. It didn't get anywhere. And I realised I'm really bad at drawing consistent characters.

I actually like collaborating. But of course that's different from actually drawing someone else's project, which is just horrible. And I haven't collaborated too much yet. I'll probably get sick of it quickly when that happens, I have enough trouble focusing on my own projects

I haven't really gotten past the "write the word weiner fifty times on different canvases" phase, but then again, all my work starts that way.

I tie my pen to my nose and then snort flour to force myself to sneeze, once I sneeze all over my tablet I trace over it.... I think that explains the terrible jokes... that or my bad sense of humor...........yeeeahhh

I understand. I'm kind of an oldfag so I was there when it was kinda slow then it gradually got faster and faster.
It mostly depends on what times you get on it.
Also even if you don't like the thread itself you can make some pretty great friends and have conversations with them instead.
