First day working.
I worked the secondary drive thru, handling the money.
Didn't take a single order, though I did try, but I always tried for the people that had questions or didn't speak loud enough.
When it got slow, I practiced shuffling.

today it was just me and the other guy who got hired the same time as me over in grocery receiving. normally there's 3 people since, well, it's chaos over there. more so than General Merchandise receiving.

Nobody got coached today. and we didn't really get yelled at for once.


I hate everyone I work with. All they did was make fun of me today. If it hadn't been for them putting me over in grocery i seriously would have walked out.

1) I know where I have been the most angry I have ever been and I held that anger for over 7 days.

I'm in a similar situation. I just filled out a job application for McDonald's and had an interview yesterday. I'm just waiting for a call from the manager that says the background check is clear. Then I have to call the corporate office to set an appointment to get my uniform. :I

The problem is though that I get paid £76 a week minimum for it.

And it's technically a job, So the extra disability benefits for my mother and me will be cut and we'll be pushed right back in the form of income.

In other words we wouldn't be able to afford certain things, Like the internet bill for example.
