y -y(1) = m(x-x(x)),

y-1 = -3(x-1)

y= 3x -1 +1

y = 3x

Dude, do you mind answering this last one?

choose the equation of the line that contains 1, 7 and -2 and 3

y = 2/3x - 4/3
y = 4/3x + 17/3
y = 5

#351 - kaeracin (04/20/2012) [-]
this line has no slop in both points y = 5 so y will always = 5 so your answer would be the third option

I can't get this one. I keep going over it but it doesn't match up with my answers.

Choose the equation of the line that contains -2, 5 and 4, 5

It's multiple choice
y = 4/3x + 17/3

y = -2/3x - 4/3

y = 5

User avatar #354 - ialreadyknow (04/20/2012) [-]
y=5
