This makes having a second language pretty useful too. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I type a random sentence in a language that isn't English it probably won't hit it on the dictionary run and would have to go to every letter.
So "jeglikerkatter" is safer than "ilikecats" though they mean the same and equally easy to remember.

Not to mention that nowandays most breaches in security aren't caused by people brute forcing the password. Instead you'll almost always see cases of servers being breached and the account information being stolen, or the use of phishing to gather people's login information.
To be honest, so long as you have an even moderate password difficulty, such that a human isn't going to guess it on the fly (unlike "12345" or some such) then you're about as safe as you're ever going to be.
The only other thing you can do to protect yourself is to use different passwords for different sites. That way, in the event there is a server breach like what happened to Sony not to long ago. You're still liable to get hit there, but you can very easily minimize the outgoing damage.
