p.s. I've never even played this game
I have Demon Souls for PS3 (I picked it up for like five bucks in a bargain bin), and it's fun, although it takes some serious guts to even put the CD into my PS3, it doesn't give the player a ton of feedback and makes you spend a loooot of time learning the ways of the world
This is Dark Souls for the PC, correct? Is it worth looking into? I know it's been out for a long time now...

Is it worth it, very much so, and yes, it is on PC. It stay's almost the same as Demon Souls with some new variety to it, for example:

- No more teleporting to worlds/areas. Now it's one big world that takes time to navigate, and is separated by Bonfires, like checkpoints. (Although there is some form of fast travel, but that would be slight spoilers)
- Magic has been improved in every way. (In my opinion.)
- Slightly more difficult. (Once again, in my opinion.)

And the "learning the way's of the world is made somewhat easier, but is still retained because that's part of the Dark Soul's charm. The experience of finding it out on your own.

Bottom Line: Dark Souls is a way more improved version of Demon Souls.
But this is just my view of the games.

Awesome, thanks for the detailed feedback. It's 30 bucks right now, which is a lot considering I try to spend next to nothing on games (I already have so fucking many... sooo fucking many...), so I'll keep my eyes open for a sale or something in the near future.
