I don't think you even understand your own statistics. You cite a RATE, and then comment on the total population. Rates are adjusted for population, that's what the "per 100k" means that you apparently copied and pasted without actually understanding.

I also don't think you know what "3rd world" means, as the concepts of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd world countries are loosely refer to who those countries were allied with during WWII and the cold war. If you're 3rd world that LITERALLY means you were not soviet nor allied with soviets (nor with the NATO allied states either)...that's literally the definition of 3rd world. Yet you refer to soviet states as 3rd world...that makes no sense...

You can't compare Europe as a whole. This is a Texan Sharpshooter Fallacy; some of Europe is riddled with crime, while some of Europe has stringent laws and an abundance of law enforcement. Europe as a whole has an AVERAGE of 3.0, but each individual nation has its own crime rates.

Example the Swiss murder rate is .49, so there has to be other European countries that go over 3.0 to establish that 3.0 average.

Your composition/division fallacy is also an attempt to make those "alcoholism and unemployment" countries seem better than they really are. Ukraine is one such country and it has a murder rate of 9.8.

In the same way comparing the US as a whole is the same two fallacies. The "murder capitol" of the USA is the District of Columbia. Washington, DC has the most strict gun control laws in the entire US, pre 1976 it was illegal to have a loaded firearm in your own home. Yet it maintains the highest murder rate in the US even now.
