Nope. But I was just visiting, not actually living there.
The city populations are usually quite chilled about everything and most of the younger people like my fellow students and such didn't give a single fuck about being muslim, yet it stood in their IDs.
The larger problem is the population in the countryside. They're not very modern and still very fundamentalistic about everything that has to do with religion.
But it turned out that in contrast to all the turks in germany, who are fucking retards, the people in Turkey are over 9000% nicer and cooler.
